For Apple’s iPhone Duo wired fast-charge claim, choose a USB-C Power Delivery adapter rated at least 60W and a USB-C cable rated for at least 60W. Apple says this setup charged the phone to 50% in around 20 minutes in its test. If you want one charger for the iPhone and another device, Apple’s 35W dual-port adapter can charge both, but its shared output is a different setup and is not the one Apple used for that wired result.
Wireless is a separate route: Apple says iPhone Duo can reach 50% in around 30 minutes with MagSafe or Qi2, subject to the relevant power-supply requirements. The right choice therefore depends on whether you prioritize the phone’s fastest documented wired charging or charging two devices together.
What charger does iPhone Duo need for fast charging?
For the wired result Apple publishes, use both of these:
- A USB-C Power Delivery adapter rated 60W or higher.
- A USB-C cable capable of 60W or higher.
Apple says iPhone Duo charged to 50% in around 20 minutes with that setup. This figure comes from Apple’s July 2026 test using preproduction phone units and software, with the phone drained and open. Apple cautions that actual results vary with the adapter, settings, use, and environment. Apple’s announcement and test notes describe the test.

- [What you get]: 1-Pack of 20 watt dual port USB-C wall charger, 12 months warranty and our friendly customer service.
Check both the adapter’s USB-C Power Delivery support and the cable’s power rating; a wattage number by itself does not establish either. The published result is a manufacturer test claim, not a guarantee for every 60W-or-higher adapter-and-cable combination.
Is a dual-port charger the same as the fastest wired charger?
No. A dual-port charger answers a different question: can one power adapter charge the iPhone and another device at the same time? When both ports are in use, power is shared, so the output available to the phone may be below the setup used for Apple’s 20-minute wired claim.

Apple 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter
Apple says this adapter can charge up to two devices at once and lists it as compatible with iPhone Duo. Its total maximum output is 35W. Apple documents up to 17.5W per device when charging an iPhone and iPad, or up to 27.5W for an iPhone paired with Apple Watch or AirPods. Apple recommends unplugging the second device if the first needs more power. See Apple’s instructions for the 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter.

On the U.S. Apple Store page accessed October 7, 2026, the adapter was listed at $59, with the cable sold separately; the live price may change. It is a practical one-adapter option for two devices, but its 35W total maximum and documented power sharing make it distinct from the 60W-or-higher wired setup Apple used for the around-20-minute result. Can MagSafe or Qi2 charge iPhone Duo quickly?
Yes. Apple says iPhone Duo can reach 50% in around 30 minutes wirelessly with MagSafe or Qi2. That is the published estimate, not a promise that every Qi2 charger or power supply will produce the same result.
For its cited MagSafe test, Apple used its 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max and Apple MagSafe Charger. Apple’s footnote says a MagSafe Charger must be paired with an adapter rated 35W or higher. These requirements apply to the stated MagSafe setup; do not assume another pad or power supply matches the test. Details are in Apple’s announcement and test notes.

What if you want to charge iPhone Duo and another device?
Choose based on the second device and how you want to use the charger:
- Two wired devices: Apple’s 35W dual-port adapter is explicitly documented for simultaneous charging. Expect shared power, and unplug the second device if the iPhone needs more.
- iPhone and Apple Watch: A wireless two-device stand or pad can be more convenient than connecting both devices to a wall adapter. Confirm the phone’s compatibility and the power supply requirements before buying.

Belkin states that this wireless charger provides up to 25W Qi2 phone charging while charging an Apple Watch, and includes a 45W USB-C power supply and cable. Belkin lists a $99.99 MSRP; that is the manufacturer’s stated suggested price, not a verified current retail price. Its support page lists multiple iPhone generations but does not explicitly name iPhone Duo, so confirm compatibility with Belkin before relying on it for this model. How to choose without overbuying
- For Apple’s fastest documented wired setup: Look for USB-C PD at 60W or higher and pair it with a cable rated for at least 60W.
- For two wired devices from one adapter: Consider Apple’s 35W dual-port adapter, understanding its 35W total maximum and shared-power behavior.
- For wireless charging: Check the charging standard and the wall adapter required by the specific MagSafe or Qi2 product. A pad’s phone output and the wall adapter’s rating are separate parts of the setup.
- For a phone-and-watch station: Check that iPhone Duo is explicitly supported, that the watch charger is included if you need one, and whether the required power supply and cable are in the box.
No independent head-to-head test of third-party wired chargers for iPhone Duo establishes a single best model. The available specifications support choosing by charging goal and verified ratings rather than treating an untested product ranking as a performance verdict.
