CES 2026 did not name one overall “Best in Show” winner. Its Innovation Awards recognized products by category, with Best of Innovation reserved for the highest-scoring honoree or honorees in a category. Notable recipients included the Toniebox 2, MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G EXPERT Series, LG SIGNATURE OLED T, Birdfy Bath Pro, and Nemonic Dot. These are award-recognized examples—not a verified editorial shortlist or a ranking based on independent product tests.
What “Best in Show” means at CES 2026
The phrase “Best in Show” can imply a single contest winner, but the official CES Innovation Awards are category-based. CES describes an Honoree as a product that scores above its category threshold; Best of Innovation goes to the highest-scoring honoree or honorees in a category. The program reserves discretion over whether to make the designation and how many recipients a category has. Its criteria include engineering and functionality, aesthetics and design, and what makes a product unique and innovative. CES explains the award program and its criteria.

What the 2026 awards program covered
In its announcement on November 5, 2025, CTA said the 2026 program covered 36 product categories and received more than 3,600 entries. It reported the largest submission increases compared with the 2025 program in AI (+29%), robotics (+32%), and drones (+32%). These are counts and year-over-year changes in award-program submissions, not measures of market growth. Read CTA’s awards announcement.
CES 2026 took place January 6–9, 2026, with Media Days on January 4–5 in Las Vegas. Those dates have passed. The awards announcement quoted CTA CEO and Vice Chair Gary Shapiro: “Each year, we’re inspired by the creativity and bold thinking of companies that are solving real-world challenges through tech.”

The cited CES award materials establish recognition and, for some products, describe features. They do not establish present-day retail availability, pricing, regional release status, or stock for all recipients. Before buying a product that caught your eye, check the manufacturer’s current product page and retailer listings for the exact model, price, availability in your region, and compatibility. For specialist products such as the Nemonic Dot, confirm that supported formats and app requirements meet your intended use. For displays or AI systems, distinguish manufacturer or listing specifications from independent testing.

How to use a CES award when choosing a product
- Treat the award as recognition, not a test result. CTA says it does not test or endorse winners.
- Compare products that serve the same need. A Braille label printer, graphics card, and television are recognized in different categories and should not be ranked against one another as if they shared a consumer test.
