During the 1980s Tehran, there was an intense conflict between Iran and Iraq. At the time, a woman Dorsa cares for her daughter while her husband is in the war zone.
Subsequently, while Dorsa and her daughter struggle to cope with the impact of the war, mysterious events begin to occur in their home. As a result of this, Dorsa is left to believe their home is hunted by an evil spirit.

Cloverfield

Consequently, the city was thrown into a state of chaos and the citizens are on the run for survival. However, Rob and the others must stick together to rescue Beth who is in the middle of the chaos.

The Gift
“The Gift” is no 8 in my pick of the best Halloween movies on Netflix.
The story-line of the movie is about a young couple as they move to a new city. While still settling in their new home, they received strange and troublesome gifts.
Subsequently, as the couple struggle with the mysterious gifts, it turns their world upside down. Moreover, an old friend unveils shocking secrets and dangerous resentment from more than 20 years ago.

The Ring
At no 7 in my pick of the best Halloween movies on Netflix is “The Ring”.
The movie is about a Journalist Rachel Keller as she investigates several mysterious deaths. For some unknown reason, a videotape is set to lead its viewers to their death within 7 days.
With 4 deaths including her sister resulting from the videotape, Rachael hopes to find the actual cause of the deaths. In an attempt to solve the mystery, despite the foretold danger, Rachael decides to watch the videotape.

Tucker and Dale vs Evil
Taking the 6th spot in my pick of the best Halloween movies on Netflix is “Tucker and Dale vs Evil”.
The movie revolves around two loving hillbillies Tucker and Dale as they go on vacation to a shaky mountain. However, while on their way, a group of students mistook Tucker and Dale for deranged killers.
As a result, their trip to the mountain turns to an unimaginable frightening experience. Subsequently, Tucker and Dale are on the run to survive deadly encounters.
“Tucker and Dale vs Evil” features comedy, horror, absurdity, and goofiness. If you want a chilling movie with laughable moments, this movie is a perfect match. You can watch the movie now on Netflix.
Zodiac
At no 5 in my pick of the best Halloween movies on Netflix is “Zodiac”.
The movie is based on a true story of a Zodiac killer who is known for his killing spree in Nothern California. During this period, the Zodiac killer is also fond of taunting the police with letters and mysterious messages.
Obsessed with the cases, a San Francisco cartoonist embarks on a path to reveal the identity of the zodiac killer. At the same time, a group of cops constantly investigate to catch the unidentified Zodiac killer.
“Zodiac” is a great movie with crime, drama, mystery, thriller, and suspense. If you want one of the best Halloween movies, you need to see this one. You can watch the movie now on Netflix.
The Witch
Coming 4th in my pick of the best Halloween movies on Netflix is “The Witch”.
In the 1630s New England, a married couple William and Katherine with their five children try to live a religious life in an isolated area. However, when unpleasant and mysterious events begin to occur, the family became anxiously worried.
While the fear increases, the family is led to believe they are under a curse by a witch. Subsequently, as they turn against one another, it gives rise to evil forces to torment their home.
“The Witch” features drama, horror, and mystery. If you want a chilling experience, this is movie is the right one to see. The movie is surely one of the best movies to watch during Halloween. It is available now on Netflix.
Train to Busan
At no 3 in my pick of the best Halloween movies on Netflix is “Train to Busan”.
The storyline of the movie is about a father Sok-woo as he tries to ensure the safety of his daughter. While aboard a train, Sok-woo learns of a viral outbreak that has hit the nation – leading to a state of emergency. Hence, all citizens were advised to be cautious and stay indoors.
Undisclosed to the passengers on the train, the outbreak has turned most of the population to wild zombies craving for flesh. While still troubled by the emergency information, the passengers find themselves amid the zombies. As a result, Sok-woo and a group of passengers fight to survive the outbreak as the train makes its way to Busan.
The movie is full of suspense, action, thriller, and horror. If you want a great Halloween time, add “Train to Busan” to your watch-list. The movie is available now on Netflix.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Coming 2nd spot in my pick of the best Halloween movies on Netflix is “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”.
The movie is about a young boy Miles as he navigates his new special ability. When he was accidentally bitten by a radioactive spider, Miles gain an extra-ordinary power – turning him into spiderman.
Meanwhile, as Miles tries to get hold of his new abilities, a villain develops a machine that disrupts the flow of space-time. Due to this incident, different spidermen are pulled from alternate dimensions into Miles’s world. As a result, Miles join forces with the other Spider-men to stop the evil villain.
“Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” is a remarkable animation – featuring action, adventure, Sci-fi, family, and suspense. The movie features different Spiderman’s costumes perfect for Halloween characters. You can watch the movie now on Netflix.
The Silence of the Lambs
Finally, at no 1 in my pick of the best Halloween movies on Netflix is “The Silence of the Lambs”.
“The Silence of the Lambs” revolves around a young FBI trainee Clarice Starling as she embarks on a mission catch a serial killer. To get into the mind of the killer, Clarice Starling must question an imprisoned cannibalistic serial killer – Lecter.
Despite Lester’s cunning attitude, Clarice has put up with him to catch the serial killer.
“The Silence of the Lambs” features drama, crime, thriller, and suspense. It also has some chilling scenes that makes the movie a fine one to watch during Halloween. The movie is available now on Netflix.
