If you want the same broad mix of away-time progression, collectible heroes and team building, start by comparing AFK Arena, Idle Heroes and Omniheroes. Their official listings describe overlapping idle-RPG features, but the available information does not establish which has the most generous free progression, the least daily upkeep or the best overall balance.
What to look for in a game like Heroes of Crown
Heroes of Crown: Legends’ Google Play listing describes a fantasy idle RPG built around recruiting heroes, forming teams, strategic battles and progress while you are away. It also lists guilds and competitive PvP. The listing displayed an update date of July 23, 2026; features and availability can change, so check the current listing in your region.

Those similarities are about the mechanics named in the listing; they do not establish identical pacing or monetization to Heroes of Crown.
Omniheroes
Omniheroes’ US App Store listing presents it as an idle strategy RPG with a fantasy setting and a roster described as more than 100 heroes. That makes it a candidate if assembling a broad fantasy team is your priority. The “100+ heroes” figure is the listing’s claim, not an independent evaluation of roster depth or balance.

Before installing, compare the current store listings in your country. The most useful questions are:
- What happens while you are away? Check which progress or rewards the listing says accrue offline and how the game presents collecting them.
- How does team building work? Look at the role of factions, hero variety and team composition rather than judging by roster size alone.
- Which active modes matter to you? Compare campaign, arena or PvP, guild, co-op and other listed activities against the kind of play you actually want.
- What applies in your region and version? Store pages can change, and availability, features, age ratings and promotions may differ by region or update.
All three alternatives are presented as free-to-play titles with in-app purchases on the cited store listings. That label describes the cost model, but by itself does not show how far a non-paying player can progress or how much time the game asks of them.

Are these games better for free-to-play players?
The available official descriptions do not provide a comparable basis for ranking these games by free-to-play generosity, grind, daily workload or strategic depth. A confident “best for F2P” verdict would require comparable evidence beyond these descriptions.
