Samsung’s reported October offers include trade-in discounts of up to $340 on the Galaxy S26, $440 on the S26 Plus, and $700 on the S26 Ultra. Those are maximums, not guaranteed prices: your trade-in, plan, and offer terms determine what you actually pay. The available reporting also describes T-Mobile offers tied to qualifying service. Check the exact configuration and checkout terms before treating any headline offer as a live deal.
Reported Galaxy S26 deals right now
Tom’s Guide’s October 2026 deal roundup reports the following Samsung trade-in maximums and T-Mobile promotions. The roundup does not establish that every buyer qualifies or provide enough terms to calculate a final price for every customer.
| Phone | Reported offer | What is established |
|---|---|---|
| Galaxy S26 | Up to $340 off at Samsung with trade-in | A reported maximum; the eligible trade-in and its value depend on Samsung’s offer terms. Tom’s Guide also reports a T-Mobile offer for a free S26 with a new line on the Experience More plan. See Tom’s Guide’s October 2026 deal roundup and Samsung’s Galaxy S26 offers. |
| Galaxy S26 Plus | Up to $440 off at Samsung with trade-in | A reported maximum. Tom’s Guide also describes a T-Mobile offer tied to a trade-in and eligible data plan, but its summary does not establish the full terms. See Tom’s Guide’s October 2026 deal roundup. |
| Galaxy S26 Ultra | Up to $700 off at Samsung with trade-in | A reported maximum, not a universal discount or guaranteed cash price. See Tom’s Guide’s October 2026 deal roundup and Samsung’s Galaxy S26 offers. |
Samsung’s US offers pages are the place to verify its current promotions, but the search result for general phone offers included terms dated through September 2026; those examples do not establish that the same promotions remain active in October. Check the individual model page and offer terms for the current price, eligibility, and end date: Samsung US phone offers.
Reported list prices are not sale prices
Tom’s Guide reported on October 1, 2026 that the 256GB starting list prices had risen to $999 for the Galaxy S26, $1,199 for the S26 Plus, and $1,399 for the S26 Ultra. These are reported list prices, not verified checkout prices or confirmed prices for every seller. Do not subtract the reported trade-in maximums from these figures to estimate your cost: the available information does not confirm that both sets of figures apply together to the same storage configuration and buyer. How to tell whether a deal is actually good for you
Compare the same model and storage tier, and calculate what you will pay over the full commitment—not just the advertised discount.
- Confirm the exact phone and seller. Check model, storage, color, stock, and whether the phone is unlocked or carrier-specific. Samsung named Amazon Stores, Best Buy, its own store, and nationwide carriers as sales channels when it announced general availability beginning March 11, 2026. That launch information does not confirm today’s inventory or prices. Samsung’s launch announcement.
- Read the trade-in rules. Verify that your exact old-phone model and condition qualify, and compare the trade-in credit with the price you would pay without trading in. “Up to” is the maximum, not a promise that your device receives that amount.
- Check plan and line requirements. For carrier promotions, identify the required plan, whether a new line is needed, and whether the offer is a discount at purchase or a credit applied over time. Compare the plan’s cost with the service you would otherwise choose.
- Include all costs and timing. Check taxes, fees, bill-credit duration, what happens to credits if you cancel or change service, and the offer’s expiration. The available October deal summary does not provide enough information to calculate those costs for each buyer.
- Check whether discounts stack. Samsung says trade-in offers generally cannot be combined with other Samsung, carrier, or retailer promotions unless the specific offer terms allow it. Read the terms attached to the exact deal rather than assuming multiple discounts apply. Samsung Galaxy S26 offer terms.
Is a carrier phone advertised as “free” the cheapest option?
Not necessarily. Tom’s Guide reports a free Galaxy S26 with a new line on T-Mobile’s Experience More plan, but the summarized information does not establish the full eligibility rules, credit schedule, fees, or total plan cost. A phone credited over a billing period can cost more overall if the required service costs more than your alternative or you leave before receiving all credits. Compare the full service commitment with an unlocked purchase or Samsung trade-in offer before deciding.

Consider Certified Re-Newed only after checking the listing
Samsung announced that the S26 lineup was added to its Certified Re-Newed program, offering another route for buyers open to refurbished hardware. The announcement alone does not establish a current price, model or storage availability, or whether a listing is a bargain. Check the live product listing for the exact device, condition, warranty, stock, and price before comparing it with a new phone. Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed announcement.
