Stuff’s roundup included 101 selections across very different kinds of technology. Its 2024 article also said the dust-emptying base was advertised for up to 10 weeks before emptying. Those are the roundup’s claims from 2024, not independently verified current specifications or a guarantee of how long the base will go between emptying in a particular home. Item tracker: Chipolo One Point
Stuff listed the Chipolo One Point as a tracker that uses Google Find My Device to help locate items. Before choosing a tracker, confirm that its finding network and app work with your phone and in your region, and check whether the model is still supported. Stuff described the Eufy 4G LTE Cam S330 as a cellular-camera option for locations with unreliable Wi-Fi. Cellular connectivity may address a weak Wi-Fi connection, but it also makes mobile coverage, data service, and any associated costs relevant to the decision. Spatial-computing headset: Apple Vision Pro
Popular Science named Apple Vision Pro its 2024 Innovation of the Year and discussed its spatial-computing approach alongside practical hurdles. Its 2024 article reported a display figure of 23 million pixels and a launch-era price of $3,500. Why “best” depends on the publisher
Editorial lists do not share one universal scoring method. Engadget’s 2024 review system labels scores of 80 or above “Recommended” and scores of 90 or above “Editors’ Choice”; those thresholds describe Engadget’s own reviews, not a cross-publisher standard. Engadget’s review guidelines.

Feature timing matters, too. TechCrunch’s September 2024 roundup noted that some Apple Intelligence features for iPhone 16 buyers were not immediately available at launch.
