There is no evidence-backed consensus winner for the best camera phone under ₹15,000 in India. In its 4 October 2026 list, 91mobiles names the Tecno Pova 7 5G its “Overall Best” and gives it an 8.1/10 Expert Camera rating. Gadgets 360’s differently screened list includes the iQOO Z10x, but its review criticizes that phone’s daylight, low-light and video results. Treat the Pova as 91mobiles’ review-led pick—not a universal verdict—and weigh the Z10x’s camera caveats before considering it. 91mobiles’ list and Gadgets 360’s list and review reflect their own assessments, not hands-on testing for this article.
Which phone under ₹15,000 has the best camera?
The Tecno Pova 7 5G is the clearest candidate in the available comparison if you want a camera-first pick: 91mobiles names it “Overall Best” and rates its camera 8.1/10 in a list dated 4 October 2026. That is 91mobiles’ rating, not an industry-wide measure or an independently verified result here. The publication reports a 50MP main camera and 4K video recording at 30fps, and describes its photo, low-light and video performance favorably. See 91mobiles’ Pova 7 5G listing and assessment; TECNO’s product page is the manufacturer source for product information, not a neutral camera comparison.
There is an important limit: the evidence here does not establish a controlled, side-by-side test of the two phones or a reliable sample-based verdict covering every camera use. The competing Gadgets 360 list uses different eligibility rules and review scores. Its selection of the iQOO Z10x should not be mistaken for a recommendation that it is the better camera phone.

How the two dated picks compare
| Phone | What the listed evidence says | Camera evidence and caveat | Price evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tecno Pova 7 5G | 91mobiles’ “Overall Best” in its 4 October 2026 list | 91mobiles assigns an 8.1/10 Expert Camera rating and reports a 50MP main camera and 4K recording at 30fps. Its favorable performance descriptions are that publication’s evaluation. | A specific price is not stated in the cited Pova listing summary; check the live India listing and exact variant. |
| iQOO Z10x | Included in Gadgets 360’s list, which says it selects currently available phones launched within 18 months with overall review scores of 8 or higher and camera scores of at least 7/10 | Gadgets 360 lists 50MP + 2MP rear cameras and an 8MP front camera, but its review says daylight images are “far from the best,” low-light images “are not usable,” and video recording “isn’t great either.” The megapixel figures do not establish image quality. | ₹13,267 was Gadgets 360’s listed India price on 4 October 2026, for the listed 6GB RAM/128GB storage configuration. It is a dated listing, not a guaranteed checkout price. |
Gadgets 360 says its camera score considers both front and rear cameras. Its shortlist criteria and review conclusions differ from 91mobiles’ approach, so the two outlets’ rankings should be read separately rather than merged into a single ranking. Read Gadgets 360’s list, specifications and review.

What to check before choosing a camera phone
Do not buy on megapixels alone. As Gadgets Now explains, tuning, sensor quality, image processing and software features also affect photographs. Read its explanation of camera-phone comparisons. If you can inspect credible sample photos or video, compare the results that matter to your use:
- Daylight detail and color: Check whether fine textures look natural and skin tones are believable, rather than judging only a full-resolution specification.
- Low light: Look for retained detail, controlled noise and consistent exposure in dim indoor scenes or at night.
- Selfies and portraits: Assess front-camera results and whether portrait separation handles hair and edges cleanly.
- Video: Check recording resolution and frame rate, but also whether footage is steady and exposure and focus remain consistent. A 4K recording specification alone does not prove good video.
- Motion and shutter response: If you photograph children, pets or moving subjects, look for blur and missed shots in sample results.
91mobiles says its camera ratings consider camera quality, selfies, low light, portrait performance, video recording and overall experience. Its score is useful as that publisher’s summary, but no single rating tells you how a phone will perform for every subject or shooting condition.

Price, variant and availability checks
Prices and stock can change, and a dated list price is not a promise of what a retailer will charge when you buy. 91mobiles says it checked prices on Amazon India and Flipkart on 4 October 2026; Gadgets 360’s ₹13,267 iQOO Z10x figure is likewise a 4 October snapshot. Neither confirms a later checkout price or current stock.
