Best Buy’s reported $759 Radeon RX 9070 XT offer was for one specific card, the ASRock Steel Legend, and was not a nationwide ship-to-home deal. Wccftech reported on October 3, 2026, that it was available for pickup in Aiea, Hawaii; when Best Buy’s category page was checked that day, the card appeared at $759.99 but was marked sold out. Wccftech’s report and Best Buy’s listings therefore describe a limited, time-sensitive offer, not a price most buyers could count on getting.
What the $759 Best Buy offer actually covered
The deal was for the ASRock Steel Legend Radeon RX 9070 XT—not every RX 9070 XT, and not every ASRock model. Wccftech reported that pickup was available at Best Buy’s Aiea, Hawaii store and that shipping was unavailable for this card. Best Buy’s category page subsequently displayed the Steel Legend for $759.99 with a sold-out status when accessed on October 3, 2026. Availability can change, so the listing price alone does not establish that a buyer can place an order.
That distinction matters if you are comparing prices: a local pickup listing that is sold out is not equivalent to an in-stock card that can be shipped to your address. Check the exact product, seller, stock status, pickup location, and delivery option before treating a displayed price as a real alternative.

Do other retailers really sell every RX 9070 XT for $900?
No. The headline’s $900 comparison is too broad if read as a market-wide price. Best Buy’s October 3, 2026 category page showed multiple board-partner cards and offers at different prices: the GIGABYTE Gaming OC was listed at $929.99 with additional offers from $715.99; an XFX Mercury listing was $909.99; an XFX Swift was $849.99; and a Sapphire Pulse was $953.99. These are listings for distinct models or offers, not a single uniform price for the GPU.

Is an RX 9070 XT worth buying at $759?
At that price, the card may be worth considering if you can actually buy the specific Steel Legend and its pickup or delivery terms work for you. In the reported case, the offer was local to Aiea and later appeared sold out, so it was not a practical nationwide deal for most shoppers. The available price checks also show that other RX 9070 XT listings could be found below $900, making a blanket comparison against $900 misleading.
AMD’s launch price was a suggested etail price of $599, announced in February 2025—not a promise that the card would remain available at that price. The $759.99 Best Buy listing was $160.99 above that historical suggested price; that arithmetic does not establish whether today’s asking price is good value. RX 9070 XT specifications and build considerations
AMD lists the RX 9070 XT with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, 64 compute units, a boost clock of up to 3.0 GHz, a 256-bit memory interface, 64 MB of Infinity Cache, and 304 W total board power. These are AMD’s reference product specifications; an individual board partner’s card may have its own physical dimensions or implementation details. Check the exact card’s requirements against your case and power supply before buying.
AMD announced expected availability through board partners beginning March 6, 2025, naming Acer, ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, PowerColor, Sapphire, Vastarmor, XFX, and Yeston. Its RX 9070 XT product page also notes that partner designs and regional availability may vary. The launch specification and timing are useful context, but they do not tell you which retailer has a card in stock today.
