For a simple free watchlist, use CamelCamelCamel; for seller and estimated-shipping comparisons, try Honey; and for a no-install option, check Amazon’s own price history on eligible products. The right choice depends on whether you want a chart, an alert, a comparison of offers, or a quick check while shopping.
Which Amazon price tracker should you use?
Start with the job you need done. Keepa is the strongest fit when you want an interactive history chart, price-drop or availability alerts, or to compare Amazon marketplaces. CamelCamelCamel is a straightforward free option for watching an item and getting an email when its price drops. Honey is useful when the offer price is not the whole story and you want to compare Amazon sellers, including estimated shipping. Amazon’s own Alexa for Shopping price history is convenient if you want to inspect history without installing a separate tracker.
These are recommendations based on capabilities documented by the services, not a head-to-head test. The cited sources do not establish which service sends the fastest alerts, identifies every price change, or saves users a particular amount.

Keepa: best for detailed price history
Keepa is the most analytically oriented pick in this group. Its Chrome extension adds charts to Amazon product pages, and its listing describes price-drop and availability alerts, Lightning Deal tracking, and international comparisons. Keepa says it tracks over 7 billion products on its 2026 page; that is the service’s own stated catalog size, not an independent measurement of chart accuracy.

A listing of supported domains is useful for shoppers crossing borders, but it does not mean the same product, seller, shipping cost, or offer is available in every store.
Keepa’s listing says no account is required to start tracking. Use its chart to see whether the displayed offer is unusually high or low relative to its own past, then set an alert if you are willing to wait. The historic low is context, not a promise that the same price will return. Check that the chart and the live offer refer to the variation and condition you intend to buy.
CamelCamelCamel: best for a free, simple watchlist
CamelCamelCamel focuses on the basic workflow: look at a product’s price history, create a price watch, and receive an email alert when the price drops. Its official page describes historical charts for millions of products and offers The Camelizer browser extension. If you want a low-friction way to monitor selected items rather than analyze many signals, this is the most direct fit.

Honey: best for comparing sellers and estimated shipping
Honey’s particular advantage is offer comparison. Its page says it compares Amazon sellers and includes estimated shipping costs, alongside price history and a Droplist for lower-price alerts. That can help when a low headline price is offset by shipping or when another seller has a more attractive total offer.
Honey/PayPal’s 2026 page says Honey has 17+ million members. That membership figure is the company’s own statement; it does not show how accurate an alert is or whether a particular seller’s delivery estimate will hold. Confirm the seller, item condition, shipping amount, delivery estimate, and availability on Amazon before checkout.

Amazon price history: best for a quick check without another tool
Amazon’s Alexa for Shopping price-history feature shows 30-, 90-, and 365-day views for eligible products. Amazon says the feature is available to customers in the U.S., UK, Canada, and India. In the page describing its rollout, Amazon said 365-day insights were rolling out in the U.S., UK, and India; availability can therefore differ by country and product.

Amazon Staff describes the feature as giving customers “transparency into 365 days of price history before they buy.” Amazon also reported in 2026 that over 50 million customers had checked price history since the feature launched in 2024, and that the average customer checks it three times a month. Those are Amazon-reported figures, not independent usage research. The cited documentation describes an on-page history and question-answering experience, rather than a price-watch alert system comparable to Keepa, CamelCamelCamel, or Honey.
How to judge a price chart or alert
Match the exact product and variation
Amazon listings can cover multiple sizes, colors, bundles, or other variants. Before interpreting a historical chart or creating a watch, verify that the selected variation matches the one in your cart. A low from a different variant is not a meaningful target for your purchase.

Compare the whole offer, not only the item price
Check the seller, shipping, condition, and availability alongside the displayed price. Honey specifically documents seller comparison with estimated shipping; the other cited sources do not document an equivalent seller-and-shipping comparison. An offer can change between the time a tracker records it and the time you check out.
Treat a past low as a reference point
A historical low tells you that a price has occurred; it does not establish that it will recur, when it might recur, or that the current offer is the best available. Decide in advance what price would be acceptable for the exact item and seller terms you want. An alert can tell you to recheck; it cannot guarantee that the offer remains available when you act.

Cross-marketplace charts can provide context, but Amazon stores are separate shopping destinations. Shipping, availability, and the listing itself may differ. Keepa documents multiple Amazon domains, while Amazon’s cited native-history page names the U.S., UK, Canada, and India. CamelCamelCamel’s page provides a country selector. Confirm the chosen store before setting an alert or making a comparison.
