The best alternative depends on what you want from an OPPO Find X phone: choose the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra for a large screen, zoom options and S Pen; the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL for Google’s software experience, a 5x telephoto and Qi2 charging; or the Xiaomi 17 Ultra for camera-focused hardware. These are different feature sets, not a universal ranking—manufacturer specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos or performs better in everyday use.
What are you replacing in the Find X series?
OPPO announced global availability of the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro on October 28, 2025. OPPO positions the Find X9 Pro around a 200 MP Hasselblad telephoto camera, a battery above 7,000 mAh and ColorOS 16; its product page specifies a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. These are OPPO’s published claims, not independent test results. The announcement does not mean every model is sold in every country, so check local availability and warranty. Before choosing an alternative, identify which part of that package matters most: camera versatility, long-range zoom, software and services, screen size, stylus productivity or charging. Camera layouts and zoom labels can help narrow a shortlist, but they do not by themselves prove image quality.
Which Find X alternative fits your priorities?
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: zoom and S Pen productivity
Samsung’s UK business specifications list a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a maximum 120 Hz refresh rate, S Pen support and four rear cameras: 200 MP, 50 MP, 50 MP and 10 MP. The listing specifies optical zoom at 3x and 5x, plus “optical-quality” 2x and 10x zoom and digital zoom up to 100x. “Optical-quality” is distinct from the listed optical zoom levels; do not treat every mode as a separate optical lens. This is a plausible choice if a large screen, stylus features and several zoom options matter to you, but the specifications do not establish that its camera is better than OPPO’s. Google Pixel 10 Pro XL: Google software and a 5x telephoto
Google lists a 6.8-inch display and a triple rear-camera system with a 5x telephoto lens. Its specifications also state a typical 5,200 mAh battery and Qi2-certified wireless charging up to 25 W. Google says wired charging can reach up to 70% in about 30 minutes with a 45 W USB-C PPS charger or higher, which is sold separately. Those are manufacturer specifications and charging claims, not a measure of real-world battery life. Consider this model if you prefer Google’s software ecosystem and camera features; check that its apps, services and software commitments meet your needs for the local version. Xiaomi 17 Ultra: a camera-hardware-focused option
Xiaomi’s global product page describes a 1-inch main camera sensor and up to 17.2x “optical-level” zoom. That wording is Xiaomi’s term; it should not be read as evidence of continuous optical zoom. The page describes hardware features, not a controlled image-quality comparison with OPPO, Samsung or Google. How to choose between them
- Choose your main use. For stylus productivity and a broad set of zoom options, compare the Galaxy S26 Ultra. For Google’s software experience and a 5x telephoto, look at the Pixel 10 Pro XL. For camera-focused hardware, consider the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
- Compare camera systems by the pictures you need. The published specifications describe different camera configurations, but megapixel counts and manufacturer zoom labels alone do not establish which phone produces better results. Look for independent, comparable camera testing if image quality is the deciding factor.
- Check the software and services you rely on. OPPO identifies ColorOS on its Find X9 Pro page, while Google documents Pixel software and security features on its specifications page. Confirm app and service compatibility, as well as update commitments, for the exact model sold locally.
- Consider screen size and handling. The cited Samsung and Pixel XL listings specify large displays. If you prefer a smaller phone, compare smaller Pro models where available or handle the devices in person; screen size alone does not capture weight, width or comfort.
- Verify the local purchase details. Confirm official regional availability, carrier bands, warranty and service, configuration and current total price before buying. The cited pages do not establish current local pricing for all three alternatives.
What the specifications can—and cannot—tell you
The manufacturer pages make it possible to compare stated features, such as display size, charging claims and camera hardware. They do not provide a controlled, same-condition comparison of performance, photo quality or battery endurance across these phones. Treat the specifications as a shortlist aid, not a verdict on which device is objectively best.
