Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7: the closest flip-phone alternative

The choice is not simply a matter of matching screen size or camera megapixels. Android Central also notes trade-offs in battery, charging, and chipset compared with the Razr Ultra 2026. Think about which of those matter to your daily use rather than treating either phone as a universal upgrade.

Motorola Razr Ultra (2025): consider it if the price is right
The previous-generation Razr Ultra may be the simplest alternative if you like the Razr approach and find one at a substantially lower current price. Android Central reports that the 2025 model shares the 2026 model’s design, displays, and processor. Its reported street-price advantage is time-sensitive; compare live prices and confirm that the phone is available in your region before treating it as a bargain.
Software support is another part of the calculation. Android Central says the 2025 model’s three-year OS-upgrade policy left two years of upgrades at the time of its article. That is a time-bound description, not a statement of how many upgrades remain today. Check Motorola’s current support terms for the exact model and region before buying.
