To get a Berlin IP address, choose a VPN whose official server list names Berlin, connect to that city in its app, then check the public IP shown to websites. NordVPN, Private Internet Access (PIA), Windscribe and ExpressVPN explicitly list Berlin in the cited provider pages. Proton VPN’s cited pages confirm German servers but do not name Berlin, so verify the city in its live app before treating it as an option.

Which VPNs list Berlin?
These four providers have official pages that explicitly identify Berlin. That establishes a listed location, not independent verification of server hardware, connection speed, privacy performance or access to any particular website.

Why Proton VPN is not counted as Berlin-confirmed here
Proton VPN’s cited Germany page says it has 66 servers, while its separate server list says Germany has two cities and 706 servers. Both pages were accessed October 7, 2026, but their displayed totals differ and neither passage names Berlin. The figures may use different page contexts or reflect changing inventory, so they should not be combined as a direct comparison. How to get and verify a Berlin IP address
- Choose a VPN provider whose current app or official server list names Berlin. Check that the app supports your device.
- Install the provider’s app, sign in and open its location list or map.
- Select Berlin and connect. If the connection fails, try reconnecting or another Berlin entry if the app offers one.
- Open a reputable public IP-check service and inspect the displayed IP and reported location. The check can confirm what that service sees, but geolocation databases may differ.
A Berlin VPN connection routes your traffic through an endpoint associated with Berlin and changes the public exit IP that websites see. It does not establish that you are physically in Berlin. A bank, government portal or streaming service can use additional checks, reject VPN traffic or report a different location; a Berlin IP is not a guarantee of access.
Shared Berlin IP or dedicated IP?
With a shared VPN endpoint, multiple customers may use the same public IP. PIA’s support article, dated August 21, 2026, says its dedicated IP is a paid add-on and lists Berlin as an available location. A dedicated address can be useful if you repeatedly need the same IP or must add an address to an allowlist. For ordinary browsing, a shared endpoint may be sufficient; the dedicated option is not a prerequisite for getting a Berlin IP. A fixed address can also make your VPN traffic easier to associate with you than an address shared among users.

The cited pages support a comparison of advertised city availability, but they do not establish an overall winner. Use the criteria below to narrow the choice around your device and use case.

- Device and protocol support: Check compatibility with your operating system, router or other device, and review the protocols the provider supports for it. - Privacy evidence: Review the provider’s current privacy policy and look for independent audit information. The cited Berlin and server pages are provider-authored and do not establish a comparative privacy ranking.
- Total cost: Compare the full subscription cost, renewal price, billing period, refund terms and any dedicated-IP add-on. Prices are volatile and are not established here.
- Your actual connection: After subscribing, check the apparent IP and test the sites and services you intend to use. The cited pages do not provide independent Berlin-specific speed tests or verified streaming results.
What a Berlin VPN can and cannot do
A VPN changes the public IP address presented by its exit connection, which may make a site associate a connection with Berlin. It does not change your device’s GPS position, prove physical presence or override a service’s own account, identity, payment or location checks. IP-location services can disagree, and sites may block VPN addresses.
Provider server pages are useful for checking advertised locations and setup instructions, but they are not independent evidence that a particular service is fastest, most private or most reliable. Choose based on confirmed city availability and your own device and service checks rather than a promised outcome.
