The Bellini BDI604SG-F is a four-zone, 60cm induction cooktop with a 7,000W rated input, nine power levels, booster, slide touch controls and a 99-minute timer. Its specifications make it a potential replacement option if your kitchen has the right cut-out and electrical connection, but installation needs qualified assessment. CHOICE lists the model as discontinued, and its public listing does not reveal the performance scores needed to give it an independent cooking verdict.
What the Bellini BDI604SG-F offers
Bellini describes the BDI604SG-F as a built-in induction cooktop. Its V13 Sep20 manual covers the BDI604SG for Australia and the BDI604SG-F for New Zealand; both show Fineline 5102874. The current Bellini product page and the manual identify the main features below.
| Feature | Specification |
|---|---|
| Cooktop width/class | 60cm |
| Cooking zones | Four: two 140mm and two 220mm zones |
| Rated input | 7,000W |
| Controls | Slide touch control for power and timer, with zone selection |
| Power settings | Nine levels |
| Timer | Up to 99 minutes |
| Other functions | Booster, child lock, on/off control and residual-heat indicator |
| Approximate net weight | 10.2kg |
Zone power and booster
The two 140mm zones are rated at 1,200W, rising to 1,500W with booster; the two 220mm zones are rated at 2,300W, rising to 2,600W with booster. Bellini’s manual says booster brings the selected zone to its maximum achievable power for five minutes. These zone figures describe the individual zones and should not be added as if they represent simultaneous full-power output; the appliance’s overall rated input is 7,000W.
Will it fit your bench?
Bellini’s manual gives appliance dimensions of 590 × 520 × 60mm and an approximate cabinet cut-out of 560 × 490mm, with tolerance notation in the manual. CHOICE’s public listing separately rounds the external dimensions to 59 × 52cm and installation dimensions to 56 × 49cm. Measure the existing opening and cabinet, then use the manual’s cut-out drawing and clearances to confirm suitability before buying or replacing a cooktop.
#1 Best Overall
- PORTABLE INDUCTION BURNER: Duxtop induction cooktop uses 110/120 V 15 amp electrical outlet–standard in all North American homes. ETL listed and built to North American electrical standards. It is lightweight and compact for easy handling and storage
- Choose from 20 preset power levels (100 to 1800 W) and 20 preset temperature level settings (100 °F to 460 °F). With an 83% energy efficiency, induction burner is more efficient than traditional gas or electric stoves
- DIGITAL LCD SENSOR: Touch control panel: child safety lock keeps the cooking and timer settings from being accidentally changed once they have been set; fast boil button; keep warm button (for 1-30 minutes at 140 °F); up to 10-hour timer button
- Induction stoves rely on cookware to heat, so it’s essential to choose magnetic bottom cookware with a minimum diameter of 5 inches. Auto-pan detection will shut off automatically after 60 seconds if no cookware, or the incorrect cookware is detected
- Although induction itself is a noiseless process, there may be high pitched sounds from the cookware due to multiple layers of metals sandwiched together. Please allow the induction cooker to cool down before cleaning
Dimensions alone do not establish a safe installation. The manual also specifies clearance and ventilation requirements, including a ventilation gap that must not be covered. Have the installer assess the actual bench, cabinet and surrounding clearances against the manual.
What cookware works with it?
Use flat-bottom cookware marked as suitable for induction. Bellini’s manual gives minimum pan-base diameters of 120mm for a 140mm zone and 180mm for a 220mm zone. A pan can be induction-compatible yet still be too small for a particular zone.

- HIGH EFFICIENCY - ChangBERT Induction cooktop offers 9 preset power levels (200-1800W) and 18 preset temperature settings (120-460℉, 20F per level). With an 83% energy efficiency rating, the induction cooker is more efficient than traditional gas or electric stoves, providing quick heat-up and faster cooking times.
- CONSISTENTLY STABLE HIGH-POWER OUTPUT - Built for constant use, it features continuous-duty circuitry for non-stop cooking. The unique power control technology ensures stable high-power output, reduces the temperature of internal electronics, and facilitates low-noise heat dissipation, providing reliable cooking performance. This dependable performance sets it apart from others.
- LARGE COOKING AREA - Features an expanded magnetic coil design that optimizes the winding structure to enhance the transfer of electromagnetic energy directly to the cookware, significantly improving heating efficiency and ensuring more even heat distribution across the bottom of the cookware.
- NSF CERTIFIED & COMMERCIAL GRADE - UL commercial standard 197, completely ETL & NSF approved. It meets industry durability standards, passing a drop test with an impact of 1.5 ft lbs. Designed for large-volume usage, it is ideal for commercial and professional settings such as restaurants, industrial kitchens, and other catering services.
- EASY TO CONTROL & CLEAN - The control buttons with solid tactile response make operation intuitive and precise. With simple and clear display, the Key-Press-Control Panel provides clear visibility and easy control, even with gloves or wet hands. With no open flame or heating element, food does not burn onto the glass cooktop, making it easy to clean greasy dirt.
- Glass, ceramic, earthenware, aluminum, copper and non-magnetic stainless-steel pans are generally unsuitable unless they have a suitable induction-rated base.
- Check the cookware maker’s induction label or instructions. The cooktop’s pan detection can also help identify unsuitable cookware; the manual says the display flashes when a pan is not suitable.
- Choose pans with smooth, flat bases. Rough bases can damage the glass-ceramic surface, and an empty pan should not be heated.
Does installation require hard wiring?
Bellini’s current product page identifies the BDI604SG-F as 30A hard wired. The manual says the cooktop must be installed by qualified personnel or technicians and calls for compliance with applicable local electrical rules, suitable wiring, required clearances and ventilation. It also describes a 3mm contact separation for an isolating switch and advises that a qualified electrician assess wiring suitability. These details are not a DIY wiring guide: have a qualified installer check the appliance rating plate, site wiring and local requirements.

CHOICE listing and the limits of this review
CHOICE’s public listing identifies four zones, 60cm width, 7kW maximum capacity, rounded external and installation dimensions, and marks the model discontinued. It says testing took place in 2023 or earlier. The expert rating, detailed cooking and usability scores, and pros and cons are member-only, so the public listing does not establish how well the cooktop performs against competitors.

CHOICE displays a $648 price, but that is a listing value, not a verified current offer. The available public evidence also does not establish current retail stock or independently verified reliability. Cleaning and glass care
Bellini’s manual says to switch the cooktop off and let it cool before cleaning; do not use steam or high-pressure cleaning. Avoid impacts and rough pan bases, and clean boil-overs promptly, since the glass-ceramic surface can be damaged. The residual-heat indicator may remain on for about 30 minutes, depending on the power setting.

- 【CHECK YOUR PAN FIRST — MAGNET TEST + FLAT BASE 4 –10 IN】Works only with magnetic, flat-bottom cookware: cast iron, magnetic 430 stainless steel, or enameled iron. Fridge-magnet test on the flat bottom: clings = works; slides = no heat. Not for aluminum, copper, glass, ceramic, or non-magnetic 304 stainless steel. Measure the flat magnetic base, not the rim: 4 –10 in (10–26 cm). Round-bottom/warped pans or small magnetic dots won’t work. “E0” = pan mismatch, not a defect.
