The Belling IHTK60BLK is documented as a frameless, touch-control, 60 cm induction cooktop with four zones. The key practical detail is that its stated product dimensions (59 × 52 cm) are larger than its installation opening (56 × 49 cm). CHOICE’s public page shows specifications but not its member-only expert rating or test results, so there is not enough public evidence here to judge cooking performance. Its displayed A$1,099 price and the current availability of the cooktop or replacement parts should be checked before buying.
What is the Belling IHTK60BLK?
The IHTK60BLK is a four-zone induction cooktop listed by CHOICE with a maximum capacity of 7.4 kW. CHOICE describes it as frameless and touch-controlled, and lists a two-year warranty. These are specifications reported on CHOICE’s exact-model page, accessed in 2026; they are not an independent performance assessment. See CHOICE’s Belling IHTK60BLK listing.
A historical ReNew comparison guide also lists the model as a 60 cm, four-zone cooktop with keep-warm and power-boost functions. That guide is useful as historical feature context, not proof of current availability or a complete current specification. Read the ReNew induction cooktops mini guide.
Dimensions: will it fit an existing cut-out?
CHOICE lists the IHTK60BLK’s product dimensions as 59 × 52 cm and its installation dimensions as 56 × 49 cm. The product footprint and the opening required for installation are different measurements; do not use the larger footprint as the cut-out size.

| Measurement | CHOICE listing |
|---|---|
| Product dimensions | 59 × 52 cm |
| Installation dimensions | 56 × 49 cm |
Before replacing an existing cooktop, measure the benchtop opening and compare it with the 56 × 49 cm installation dimensions, then confirm the fit against the appliance’s own installation instructions. The available exact-model information does not establish required clearances or electrical installation details. Have a qualified installer check those requirements rather than assuming that a matching cut-out alone is sufficient.
Zones and pan sizes
CHOICE lists four cooking zones. Its page gives three usable pan diameters of 15 cm and one minimum-only diameter of 12 cm. The latter is a minimum, not a stated maximum pan size. Check your cookware base diameters against the listed usable sizes before relying on a particular zone for a regular pan.

Is it any good? What the public evidence can tell you
CHOICE marks the expert rating as member-only, and the page view available publicly does not show the IHTK60BLK’s test results. There is therefore no public score or test finding here to support a claim that it heats faster, cooks more evenly, or performs better or worse than another cooktop. Its specifications establish the layout and listed capacity, but not real-world cooking quality.

If you are comparing it with another model, assess the cut-out fit, zone layout and pan sizes, maximum capacity and household electrical compatibility, controls and documented functions, warranty, current price and stock, and access to replacement parts. The evidence available does not support ranking this model’s cooking performance against alternatives.

Price, availability and replacement parts
CHOICE displayed a price of A$1,099 when its page was accessed in 2026. That is a page-reported figure, not a verified current offer; check Australian retailers for the price and whether the cooktop is in stock.
An ApplianceSpares NZ listing identifies a Belling hotplate assembly as suitable for the IHTK60BLK but marks that assembly “discontinued by supplier.” This status applies to the listed replacement part only; it does not establish that the cooktop itself has been discontinued. Check the ApplianceSpares NZ hotplate assembly listing.
