The Bedgear M2 is a foam mattress listed by Australian consumer group CHOICE as firm, but the public version of CHOICE’s review does not disclose its test ratings or performance results. Its availability and specifications also differ by market: CHOICE marks it discontinued in Australia, while BEDGEAR Thailand listed it in stock when checked. CHOICE lists six layers, a weight of 36 kg, and dimensions of 205 × 154 × 25 cm. These are details for the Australian listing, not a universal specification sheet. The Thai listing is on BEDGEAR Thailand’s M2 product page. Its page carries a 2026 copyright, but no publication date is shown. Do not assume its size options, warranty or price apply outside Thailand.
What do independent tests say about performance?
CHOICE says it tested the M2, but its public page hides the expert rating and detailed results, including sleeper support, durability and breathability scores, as well as its recommendation. The public listing therefore does not support a positive or negative test verdict.

Is the Bedgear M2 worth buying?
There is not enough accessible independent evidence to give the M2 a confident performance recommendation. It may still be worth considering if you find the exact model locally, can inspect or try it under suitable return terms, and confirm that the seller’s warranty covers your purchase. The Thai listing’s 10-year warranty should not be treated as a worldwide promise.
Before paying, check these points with the seller:
- Model identity: Confirm the mattress is the M2, rather than a similarly named BEDGEAR product or a current model represented as its successor. Available sources do not establish an equivalent successor.
- Condition and size: Confirm whether it is new, the precise size, and the dimensions for that market. Do not assume the Australian queen dimensions match the Thai size labels.
- Current price and stock: Check the seller’s live listing and final delivered price; the published Australian and Thai figures are market-specific and may no longer be current.
- Warranty and returns: Get the applicable warranty, trial period if any, return window, fees and exclusions in writing. The available listings do not establish a universal trial or return policy.
