Beats 360’s strongest practical advantages are replaceable cushions, IPX4 sweat and water resistance, ANC and transparency modes, and advertised support for Apple and Android devices. Its biggest cautions are the $349.99 US list price, separately sold cushion kits and charging cable, and the need to decide for yourself whether its fit and sound suit you. Those are different kinds of evidence: specifications come from Apple and Beats, while listening impressions are subjective.

What makes Beats 360 appealing?
Replaceable earcup and headband cushions
The cushions can be changed, and Beats says additional cushion kits are sold separately. That gives owners a way to choose another look or replace a cushion set, but there is no established evidence here that the design improves hygiene or extends the headphones’ lifespan.
IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance
Beats lists an IPX4 rating. It may make the headphones more suitable for workouts where sweat or splashes are a concern, but it is not a waterproof rating: do not treat the headphones as safe to submerge.

ANC and transparency mode
Apple’s listing includes active noise cancellation (ANC) and transparency mode. ANC is intended to reduce surrounding noise; transparency mode is intended to let more of the environment through. Beats calls its ANC the most advanced for the brand, but that is a manufacturer description, not an independent comparison proving it outperforms other headphones.
Apple and Android support
Beats advertises compatibility with both ecosystems, and Apple Support documents pairing with Apple and Android devices. Apple also documents playback, volume, call, listening-mode and Siri controls. Up to 32 hours of advertised battery life
Beats states that Beats 360 offers up to 32 hours of battery life. “Up to” is the manufacturer’s claim, not a guaranteed runtime for every listening mode, volume level or pattern of use. Beats product information.

At $349.99 on Apple’s US listing surfaced in October 2026, these are a premium-priced purchase. Check the live listing for your region and date, since regional pricing, discounts and availability can vary.

Some useful extras are separate purchases
Apple’s listing says additional Beats 360 Cushion Kits and a USB-C charging cable are sold separately. It says the woven ripstop carrying case is included. Check the box contents on the listing you are buying from rather than assuming spare cushions or a cable come with the headphones.
Fit and sound are personal
One TechRadar reviewer described a positive extended experience, but that impression is not a universal finding or a controlled sound ranking. Available evidence does not establish a consensus on comfort, sound quality, microphone performance or long-term cushion durability. Cross-platform functionality may differ
Beats cautions that functionality may be limited with older Apple software or non-Apple devices. If a particular feature matters to you, verify it for your phone and software version rather than relying on broad compatibility wording.
Are Beats 360 worth it for working out?
The IPX4 rating is a relevant advantage if you want over-ear headphones for workouts involving sweat or splashes. It does not establish that Beats 360 will feel secure or comfortable during your exercise routine, and it is not permission to expose them to immersion. The fit is personal, so try them during the type of activity you intend to do if you can.

Weigh that workout use against the listed weight of 294.5 g (10.39 oz) and the separately sold cushion kits. The weight is Apple’s published specification; it does not by itself predict how comfortable the headphones will feel on your head.
How to judge Beats 360 against other over-ear headphones
Use like-for-like evidence rather than treating one specification as a verdict. Check the exact regional price and included accessories, then compare fit and weight, cushion replaceability, and the water-resistance rating for your intended activity. For sound and ANC, look for independent measurements made under comparable conditions; for battery life, compare figures only when the test conditions are stated. Finally, verify that the features you want work with your phone and operating system.
On the evidence available, Beats 360’s clearest case is its combination of replaceable cushions, IPX4 rating, listening modes and advertised Apple/Android compatibility. Whether that combination justifies its US list price depends on your fit, sound preferences, device and willingness to buy any extra cushion kits or cable.
