For EA’s published 4K/60 FPS Ultra target in Battlefield 6, the listed graphics cards are an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, paired with a specified high-end CPU, 32GB of memory, and an SSD. EA labels the upscaler “Native.” These are EA’s target specifications—not a guarantee of identical performance on every PC or in every game situation.
What PC specs does EA list for Battlefield 6 at 4K Ultra?
EA’s October 7, 2025 announcement identifies its Ultra target as 2160p (4K) at 60 FPS on Ultra settings. It lists the following configuration:
| Component | EA’s published Ultra specification |
|---|---|
| Target | 2160p (4K), 60 FPS, Ultra settings |
| Upscaler | Native |
| Graphics card | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX |
| Video memory | 16GB |
| Processor | Intel Core i9-12900 or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D |
| System memory | 32GB, dual channel, 4800 MHz |
| Operating system | Windows 11 64-bit |
| Graphics API | DirectX 12 |
| Storage | 90GB SSD |
EA also lists 1440p at 144 FPS on Medium settings as a performance target in the same announcement. That is a different resolution and preset from the 4K/60 Ultra target. Read EA’s dated PC specifications announcement.
How does the Ultra target differ from EA’s current requirements page?
EA’s current system requirements page lists Minimum and Recommended tiers, but does not show the detailed Ultra target above. Its Recommended tier lists an RTX 3060 Ti, RX 6700 XT, or Intel Arc B580; 16GB RAM; an Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X; Windows 11; and an SSD listed as 80GiB. The Minimum tier lists an RTX 2060, RX 5600 XT, or Arc A380; 16GB RAM; an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600; Windows 10; and an HDD listed as 55GiB.

- Powered by Radeon RX 9070 XT
- WINDFORCE Cooling System
- Hawk Fan
- Server-grade Thermal Conductive Gel
- RGB Lighting
Those are separate performance tiers, and the storage figures use different units: the Ultra announcement says 90GB SSD, while the current Recommended tier says 80GiB SSD. Do not treat the Recommended storage figure as a replacement for EA’s published Ultra target. Check EA’s current PC system requirements.
Is an RTX 4080 enough for Battlefield 6 at 4K 60 FPS?
The RTX 4080 is one of the two GPUs EA names for its 4K/60 Ultra configuration, alongside the RX 7900 XTX. But matching the graphics-card name alone does not establish that a whole PC meets EA’s target: the announcement also specifies 16GB of video memory, one of its listed CPUs, 32GB of dual-channel memory at 4800 MHz, Windows 11 64-bit, DirectX 12, and an SSD.

- AMD Radeon RX 550 Chipset, Silver plated PCB & all solid capacitors provide lower temperature, higher efficiency & stability
- 9CM unique fan provide low noise and huge airflow for your GPU
- GPU Boost Clock / Memory Speed : up to 1183 MHz / 4GB GDDR5 / 6000 MHz Memory, Stream Processors 512, Perfect for 3D CAD/CAM working, video and photo editing, Video Games @1080p
- Support: DirectX 12, Shader Model 5.0, OpenGL 4.6/4.5, 4K Video Decode
EA says its specifications represent minimal viable builds for presets and are not comprehensive, because hardware combinations vary. Treat the named parts as EA’s target configuration rather than a promise that every matching system will maintain 60 FPS across all scenes, drivers, or game updates.

Performance hardware is only part of setup. EA says Battlefield 6 PC play requires TPM 2.0 enabled, User Secured Boot enabled, and HVCI-capable and VBS-capable systems. EA’s launch article also says Secure Boot is required for its Javelin Anti-cheat and directs players to EA Help for device-specific instructions. Check your PC’s firmware and Windows security status before buying or replacing components; these requirements are separate from graphics performance.

Do DLSS and frame generation change the 4K Ultra requirement?
EA’s Ultra specification labels upscaling “Native.” NVIDIA separately lists support for DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, DLAA, and NVIDIA Reflex. These are supported options, but they are not the same thing as EA’s native 4K/60 Ultra target.
NVIDIA says DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation combined with DLSS Super Resolution multiplies RTX 50 Series frame rates at 4K Ultra by an average of 3.8X. NVIDIA also reports more than 470 FPS on an RTX 5090 and more than 330 FPS on an RTX 5080 with that feature combination. Those are NVIDIA-published vendor figures, not independent test results or native-rendering figures. See NVIDIA’s Battlefield 6 DLSS announcement.

How to check whether your PC matches EA’s target
- Confirm the target you want. Compare your goal with EA’s specific resolution, frame rate, and preset: 4K/60 Ultra is distinct from the Recommended tier.
- Check every listed component. Compare your GPU and VRAM, CPU, RAM capacity and configuration, operating system, graphics API support, and SSD against EA’s Ultra specification.
- Check security prerequisites. Verify TPM 2.0 and User Secured Boot are enabled and that the system is HVCI- and VBS-capable.
- Update drivers and tune for your build. EA advises installing the latest drivers unless official Battlefield communications say otherwise. It recommends GPU-manufacturer optimization software or in-game settings to tune a particular PC: “We highly recommend using your GPU manufacturer’s optimization software to fit your specific PC build, or venturing into the in-game Settings to fine tune everything to your personal best experience.”
