No. The listings describe two distinct titles with different protagonists and combat formats. Nintendo’s US store identifies BANCHOU TACTICS as a digital Nintendo Switch game released February 15, 2024, published by Flyhigh Works. It follows Taiga Arashi amid rivalries between Sakae High School, Nakamura Technical High School, and Minato High School. See Nintendo’s listing.

A Steam Community news archive for the older game announced a PC release for August 10, 2023; that announcement does not change Nintendo’s listed Switch release date. The archive also records later update notes, including a September 24, 2023 version 1.25 update describing post-game Fight Club stages and additional playable characters. Read the BANCHOU TACTICS Steam news archive.
The available sources verify that the games are separate releases, but do not define their relationship as sequel, port, or re-release. They also do not verify an Xbox listing or Xbox release for the earlier BANCHOU TACTICS.

How does Lion Heart’s combat work?
Xbox describes Lion Heart as a party-based action tactical RPG set among rival Japanese delinquent schools. Players guide Kusumi Kyoshiro and allies, challenge rival schools, and work their way up the ranks. The store description foregrounds friendship and pride alongside the goal of becoming the strongest.
Its combat description pairs tactical choices with real-time action timing: players position the team and choose moves, then time punches, kicks, guards, counters, and special attacks. That is a different description from the turn-based strategy format Nintendo lists for BANCHOU TACTICS.
