The AZZA PSAZ-750G is a non-modular 750W ATX 3.1 power supply with a native 12V-2×6 connector, but Tom’s Hardware’s testing found its half-load efficiency slightly below the 80 PLUS Gold threshold and its connector limited to 450W. The result is a capable-looking budget unit with important qualifications: check your GPU’s power needs, account for fixed cables and noise under heat, and don’t treat AZZA’s Gold label as independently confirmed certification.

Is the AZZA PSAZ-750G a good power supply?

It appears competent for a budget build, but its strengths do not erase the compromises. In its review published September 13, 2026, Tom’s Hardware reported that the tested sample delivered its rated 750W output at 40°C, had 0.9% 12V regulation, and kept ripple within the limits shown in the review’s tables. The reviewer also found the tested protection mechanisms present and triggering correctly.

Those findings describe Tom’s Hardware’s tested sample, not a guarantee about every production unit or long-term reliability. The same review noted a two-year warranty, fixed cables, noise when hot, and low-grade capacitors. It listed an asking price of $78 at publication; that is a historical figure, not a current quote. Is the PSAZ-750G really 80 PLUS Gold certified?

There is a discrepancy between the manufacturer’s label and the independent review. AZZA labels the product “ATX3.1 750G GOLD” and says it is “80 PLUS GOLD CERTIFIED.” AZZA’s product page also describes 90% efficiency under typical load. These are manufacturer claims. [c002]

Gold 750W ATX 3.1 PSU by PSAZ-750G
  • 80 PLUS GOLD CERTIFIED - Quality components that deliver 90% efficiency under typical load, lowering energy cost and excess heat waste.
  • ECO FAN CONTROL - Rear button controls the efficiency & noise levels of fan. Save on energy costs and unnecessary fan use.
  • ATX 3.0 READY - Native 16-pin PCI-e 5.0 connector helps to safely utilize the PSU for PCI-e 5.0 next-gen graphic cards.
  • Silent fan for low acoustics
  • 2-year warranty

Tom’s Hardware reported that it found no official 80 PLUS entry for this model when it checked, and that its tested sample fell just short of the Gold efficiency requirement at 50% load: 0.2 percentage points below on 230V AC and 0.1 points below on 115V AC. The review said the unit cleared the other cited efficiency checkpoints. These are bench measurements reported by Tom’s Hardware, not an official certification test, and one sample cannot establish how every production unit would perform. The reviewer also reported no Cybenetics or PLPP listing at the time of its check. [c001]

What connectors and specifications does the non-modular model have?

AZZA identifies the model as “PSAZ-750G(ATX3.1).” Its product page lists a 750W output, ATX 12V form factor, non-modular cabling, 100–240V input, 120mm fan, and 140mm depth. The cable inventory is:

Make sure a listing is for the non-modular PSAZ-750G ATX 3.1 version. AZZA also lists a fully modular 750G ATX 3.1 product, so the shared 750G name alone does not identify the cable configuration. [c002]

Does it have a native 12V-2×6 connector, and will it suit my graphics card?

Yes. AZZA lists a native 12+4-pin PCIe 5.1 connector, and Tom’s Hardware describes it as a native 12V-2×6 connector. But the reviewer reports that its output is limited to 450W. Connector presence alone therefore does not establish that it is suitable for a particular graphics card. Compare the GPU’s power requirements with the connector’s reported limit and the PSU’s overall capacity before buying. [c001] [c002]

AZZA describes the connector as helping users “safely utilize” the PSU with next-generation PCIe 5.1 graphics cards. That is the manufacturer’s product-page language, not an independent compatibility assessment. [c002]

What else should buyers weigh?

  • Fixed cables: The non-modular design leaves unused leads in the case, which can make routing and cable management less convenient.
  • Heat and noise: Tom’s Hardware reported noise when hot. Its review also lists a fanless window as a positive, but that does not mean the unit remains silent under sustained or warm operation. [c001]
  • Warranty: AZZA lists two years, a relatively short coverage period for a component expected to remain in service across builds. [c001] [c002]
  • Price: Tom’s Hardware’s $78 asking price applied at the review’s September 13, 2026 publication, not necessarily to current listings. [c001]
  • Certification: The Gold claim is disputed by the review’s reported registry check and half-load result; buyers who prioritize verified efficiency should look for independently documented certification and test data.

Tom’s Hardware’s verdict described the unit as measuring like a decent budget Gold-class PSU while noting that its Gold badge was not backed by certification and that the review’s own half-load result came in just below the threshold. That distinction captures the central trade-off: reported electrical performance was respectable, but branding, warranty, cable design, heat-related noise, and connector power limit warrant scrutiny.
