AttackIQ announced on May 6, 2024, that it would provide its free AttackIQ Academy cybersecurity courses to Cyber Poverty Line Institute students in underserved communities. AttackIQ also said it had signed the Institute’s Cyber Inclusion Pledge. The announcement describes an intended partnership, not verified enrollment, delivery or learner outcomes.
What AttackIQ announced
The announcement names AttackIQ and the Cyber Poverty Line Institute as partners in an education-access initiative. AttackIQ said Academy courses would be made available to Institute students in underserved communities, with the broader aim of reducing unequal access to cybersecurity knowledge and capabilities.
AttackIQ also said it signed the Institute’s Cyber Inclusion Pledge. The Institute’s official homepage describes its mission as building a global cyber-enablement platform and empowering people, organizations and societies with knowledge and tooling for digital equality and cyber inclusion.
What courses are covered
The release identifies the offering only as AttackIQ Academy courses; it does not list individual course titles. AttackIQ characterizes Academy as practitioner-taught training that gives learners realistic, hands-on experience building a threat-informed defense.

Why the partnership matters
Cybersecurity training can be difficult to access when learners lack institutional funding, professional networks or suitable practical environments. Making a free Academy curriculum available through a nonprofit focused on cyber inclusion is intended to lower those barriers. The companies’ statements support that access goal, but they do not show how many students received training or whether the program changed employment, skills or organizational security outcomes.
How to interpret the Institute’s “long-term collaboration” statement
Ramy Houssaini, chair of the Cyber Poverty Line Institute, called the partnership “the first step in a long-term collaboration with AttackIQ.” This records the Institute’s expectation when the announcement was issued. It is not confirmation that the collaboration continued, expanded or delivered a defined number of courses.

Anyone trying to join through the Institute should confirm the current details directly with the organizations, because the announcement does not provide them:

Background cited in the announcement
AttackIQ’s release refers to an earlier 2021 partnership with the Virtually Testing Foundation. That example is background about another collaboration and does not provide evidence of delivery or results for the Cyber Poverty Line Institute initiative.
