For most players building around Titan shifting, Fritz is the strongest broadly supported pick. For ODM combat, consider Helos or Ackerman: Helos is presented as an ODM-focused non-shifter, while Ackerman is specifically suited to blade combat. Reiss is worth considering when party support and progression bonuses matter more than personal combat stats. These are third-party guide rankings, not results from independent testing, and the guides disagree about some details.

Which family should you choose?

Family Best fit What guides report
Fritz Titan-shifting builds Pro Game Guides ranks Fritz S+ in its April 29, 2026 Update 4 list and reports +20% Shifter Stats, +15% Critical Chance and Damage, and +10% Damage in Raids. These are guide-reported game values, not independently verified statistics. Pro Game Guides
Helos ODM-focused play without shifting Both reviewed guides place Helos among their top options; Pro Game Guides describes it as an ODM/non-shifter choice. Pro Game Guides Pocket Gamer
Ackerman Blade-focused ODM combat Pocket Gamer reports +20% damage, +15% critical chance, and +15% critical damage, and names the skills “Let it RIP” and “Swift Strikes.” Pocket Gamer
Reiss Party support and progression Pocket Gamer describes party XP and Gold bonuses. Choose it for those group and progression benefits rather than assuming it beats a combat-focused family in personal damage. Pocket Gamer
Yeager Shifting and regeneration Pocket Gamer describes shifting and regeneration skills. Compare those benefits with the family’s current in-game details before committing. Pocket Gamer

How the published tier lists differ

Tier labels are editorial judgments, not official game ratings. Pocket Gamer’s list, updated October 6, 2026, covers 28 playable families and places Fritz, Helos, Ackerman, Yeager, Reiss, Leonhart, and Tybur in S tier. It excludes Shiki, saying it cannot currently be obtained. Pocket Gamer

Pro Game Guides’ April 29, 2026 Update 4 list ranks Fritz, Helos, and Shiki S+; Ackerman, Yeager, and Reiss S; and other families in lower tiers. Its inclusion of Shiki conflicts with Pocket Gamer’s availability claim. Pro Game Guides

Because the lists differ in both tiers and Shiki’s status, use them as recommendations rather than definitive live-game information. Check the game or its official Trello board for current availability and mechanics; a third-party wiki identifies both the Roblox experience and Trello board as official links. What to compare before using a Spin

  • Build direction: Start with whether you want to shift into a Titan or focus on ODM combat. The reviewed guides position Fritz for shifting and Helos and Ackerman for ODM-focused play.
  • Damage and critical bonuses: Compare damage, critical chance, and critical damage modifiers, while treating specific percentages as guide-reported values. Ackerman’s reported modifiers are listed above.
  • Survivability and skills: Check family skills and regeneration if staying alive or maintaining combat uptime is important; Pocket Gamer highlights Yeager’s shifting and regeneration and Ackerman’s named skills.
  • Group progression: Consider Reiss’s reported party XP and Gold bonuses if you regularly play with others and value shared progression.
  • Rarity versus usefulness: A rarer family is not automatically the better fit. Match its abilities to your build and play style.

Spins, rates, and Shiki availability

The reviewed guides say families are obtained through Spins, but their specific mechanics are not confirmed by the official sources identified here. Pocket Gamer reports an Epic-or-Legendary guarantee after 400 spins; Pro Game Guides reports at least Epic rarity after 400 spins and a 0.025% Mythical spin rate. Treat these as claims from those dated guides, not guaranteed current rules. The guides also conflict on whether Shiki is obtainable, so confirm its status in-game before planning around it.
