What was the reported price?
PC Gamer listed the laptop at Best Buy for $1,349.99, reduced from $1,599.99, in its October 5, 2026 article. The writer, Andy Edser, described that price as reasonable in the market context he saw that day, despite its seeming steep for an RTX 5060 laptop. What makes the configuration appealing?
The appeal is the combination of a 115 W RTX 5060, a high-refresh 1200p display, a 16-core processor and 1 TB of storage. Those figures describe the configuration, but they do not establish gaming frame rates or performance in particular titles. For a fair comparison with another RTX 5060 laptop, compare GPU power rating, screen resolution and refresh rate, processor, included memory, storage and prices available at the same time.
What is the main compromise?
The reported configuration includes 16 GB of DDR5 rather than 32 GB. PC Gamer flags this memory allocation as its main drawback. Whether it suits your workload depends on what you run; buyers who want more memory should verify upgrade options and costs for the exact SKU, which the report does not identify.
