A March 24, 2025 report said ASUS had registered six Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics-card models with South Korea’s Radio Research Agency (RRA): two TUF Gaming 16GB cards and four Prime or Dual 8GB cards. The report is not a current launch announcement, and its list was attributed to an X account rather than a direct citation to the RRA database. ASUS and AMD product pages now document RX 9060 XT cards in both capacities, but that does not confirm South Korean stock or verify every detail of the historical filings.
What ASUS models did the report list?
IT Home reported on March 24, 2025, that ASUS had registered six RX 9060 XT models in South Korea. It attributed the list to information shared by X account 포시포시 (@harukaze5719); the report was not a direct RRA database citation. The six models it named were:
| Reported capacity | ASUS family | Reported variants |
|---|---|---|
| 16GB | TUF Gaming | OC 16GB; standard 16GB |
| 8GB | Prime | OC 8GB; standard 8GB |
| 8GB | Dual | OC 8GB; standard 8GB |
The count of six refers to the models in IT Home’s list, not a regulator-published statistic. IT Home said the filings corroborated earlier reporting about an Acer EEC registration and coverage by VideoCardz. That reported corroboration does not establish a launch date, retail availability, pricing, or market impact. IT Home’s March 24, 2025 report

Yes. Current manufacturer pages document both capacities: AMD has separate RX 9060 XT 8GB and 16GB product pages, and ASUS’s Korean site identifies a TUF Gaming RX 9060 XT 16GB GDDR6 OC Edition. This confirms the product family and the two memory capacities, but it does not independently validate the exact six-model filing list or show that each named card is currently in stock in South Korea.

- ASUS Korea: TUF Gaming RX 9060 XT 16GB GDDR6 OC Edition
- ASUS specifications for model TUF-RX9060XT-O16G-GAMING
- AMD RX 9060 XT 8GB specifications
- AMD RX 9060 XT 16GB product page
What specifications are established for the named cards?
The available specification pages cover AMD’s 8GB reference product and ASUS’s specific TUF 16GB OC board. They are not a complete comparison of all six models. In particular, the report’s Prime and Dual entries do not come with exact ASUS model identifiers or specifications in the report.
| Product page | Documented details | Power recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| AMD RX 9060 XT 8GB reference specifications | 32 compute units; boost frequency up to 3130 MHz; up to 20 Gbps GDDR6; 128-bit memory interface; PCIe 5.0 x16; 150W typical board power; one 8-pin power connector | 450W minimum PSU, per AMD’s reference specification |
| ASUS TUF-RX9060XT-O16G-GAMING, 16GB GDDR6 OC | 16GB GDDR6; 20 Gbps memory speed; 128-bit memory interface; PCI Express 5.0 | 550W recommended PSU, per ASUS for this specific board |
These power figures apply to different products and use different wording: AMD’s 450W figure is the minimum PSU recommendation on its 8GB reference page, while ASUS recommends 550W for the named TUF 16GB board. They should not be treated as interchangeable requirements for every RX 9060 XT card. Partner-board specifications can differ from AMD’s reference specification.

What the registration does—and does not—tell buyers
A reported regulatory registration is evidence of a filing, not proof that a card has launched or can be purchased. The March 2025 coverage does not establish prices, current South Korean inventory, or availability for every SKU on its list. The manufacturer pages establish documented products and specifications, but do not fill those local retail gaps.

For a purchase decision, check the exact model number on the product and retailer pages. Capacity, OC designation, family, cooler dimensions, ports, and board-level power requirements may vary; the registration list alone does not specify those details for all six entries.
