ASUS has officially listed the ROG Strix OLED XG32UQDS, a 31.5-inch-viewable 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor with a maximum refresh rate of 180Hz and a manufacturer-rated 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time. ASUS calls its panel third-generation QD-OLED. The listing establishes the specifications and features below, but not an official price or confirmed general retail date.

How bright is the XG32UQDS?
ASUS lists typical brightness of 250 cd/m² and HDR peak brightness of 450 cd/m². Those are different specifications: the first is the typical figure, while the second is the listed HDR peak. They are manufacturer-provided values, not independent measurements of real-world brightness.

Neo Proximity Sensor
ASUS says the Neo Proximity Sensor detects when a user leaves and switches the display to a black screen, as part of its OLED Care Pro suite. The feature is intended to help guard against OLED burn-in; the product description does not establish how well it performs in independent testing.

BlackShield surface claims
ASUS says its BlackShield surface improves perceived black levels in bright surroundings by up to 40% and provides 2.5 times the scratch resistance. These are ASUS claims reported with the product information, not independently verified measurements of the XG32UQDS.
What ports does the monitor have?
Igor’sLAB reports one DisplayPort 1.4 connection with Display Stream Compression (DSC) and two HDMI 2.1 inputs, based on manufacturer information. The report says the monitor does not have USB-C or DisplayPort 2.1. That port mix is worth checking if your setup depends on USB-C connectivity or a newer DisplayPort standard; the listing alone does not establish compatibility or performance for a particular computer and game.

Price and availability
ASUS’s product listing and the cited product-information coverage do not provide an official price or a confirmed general retail date. Igor’sLAB reported an expectation of a German-market launch toward the end of 2026, based on a separate publication’s inquiry. That is a regional expectation, not confirmation of a German release, and it does not establish availability elsewhere.

The XG32UQDS is now officially listed, but a product listing is not a review. The figures above do not establish independently measured brightness, response behavior, input lag, image quality, or gaming performance. Anyone comparing it with another monitor should wait for testing of the exact model and consider measured performance, warranty coverage, input needs, and price alongside the listed specifications.
