The ASUS Ascent QN10 pairs Qualcomm’s 18-core Snapdragon X2 Elite processor and an 80 TOPS-rated NPU with a chassis ASUS describes as under 0.7 liters. That makes it an unusually compact Windows-on-Arm desktop on paper, but published specifications are not a substitute for measured speed: the independent coverage located so far is a show-floor preview, not a full test. Its appeal depends on whether your applications and accessories work well on Windows for ARM64, and whether you need its small footprint and AI hardware enough to accept integrated memory and unverified workload performance.
What is the ASUS Ascent QN10?
ASUS announced the Ascent QN10 on September 17, 2026. It is a mini PC built around Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-88-100, with an 18-core third-generation Oryon CPU and Adreno X2-90 graphics. ASUS describes the system as an AI mini PC and lists Windows 11 for ARM64. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance results. ASUS’s launch announcement and its QN10 datasheet provide the primary product details.
The “0.7-liter” description is a rounded size category: ASUS calls the machine under 0.7L. Its datasheet lists dimensions of 130 × 130 × 40 mm and a weight of 620g. It also specifies a 180W power adapter. Those figures describe the datasheet configuration; retail specifications can vary by market or final SKU.

How fast is the ASUS Ascent QN10?
There are no independent QN10 benchmark results established in the available coverage, so its real-world CPU, graphics, and sustained performance cannot yet be judged from the core count alone. A processor’s core count does not show how fast it completes a particular task, how it performs under long workloads, or how it compares with a different desktop. ASUS and Qualcomm’s published figures establish what hardware the QN10 is meant to contain, not its measured application speed.
Tom’s Guide reported seeing and handling the machine at Computex 2026, but said it could not fully test the device powered on and connected to a monitor. For a buying decision, look for results from the exact QN10 configuration running the applications you use. A useful evaluation would include sustained workloads, fan noise and surface temperatures, sleep and wake behavior, and native Arm versus emulated application performance. Results from another Snapdragon computer would not establish the QN10’s performance or thermals.

What does 80 TOPS mean on the QN10?
ASUS specifies up to 80 TOPS (INT8) for the Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. TOPS is a throughput rating for the neural processing unit; it is not an overall PC benchmark and does not tell you how quickly every AI task will finish. The rating also does not prove that a particular application uses the NPU, that a model fits in available memory, or that it runs at a useful speed.
Qualcomm positions the platform for local inference and AI-agent workflows. Its Snapdragon X2 Elite overview names software examples, but those examples do not establish that each application is optimized for or supported on the final QN10 image. Before choosing the PC for local AI, check the specific software’s supported Windows architecture, hardware acceleration, model requirements, and memory use.
Will Windows on ARM run your apps and accessories?
The QN10 uses Windows 11 for ARM64, not the x86 version of Windows. App compatibility depends on each application and its dependencies: some software may have an Arm-native version, some may run through emulation, and some may not work as required. Peripherals can also depend on drivers or companion utilities that need to support the Arm edition.

Can you upgrade the QN10’s memory or storage?
Memory is integrated
The datasheet lists 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5x-8533 memory, with 32GB as the maximum. The ASUS Singapore listing for SKU QN10-VQ0019NN specifies 32GB of integrated memory. That configuration does not provide a user-upgradeable RAM path, so choose a capacity that suits the life and workload you expect from the machine.
Storage has two listed M.2 slots
ASUS lists two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe slots, and a 1TB SSD configuration is listed for the Singapore SKU. The datasheet establishes the slot count, not whether a second slot is empty in every retail configuration. Confirm the shipped drive arrangement and expansion procedure for your exact SKU before buying an SSD.

Tom’s Guide’s preview also reports that opening the system requires removing screws. That is a show-floor observation, not a substitute for the model-specific service instructions.
How many monitors can the QN10 support?
ASUS promotes support for up to four 4K displays. The published port list includes three USB4 Type-C ports with DisplayPort 1.4 and an HDMI 2.1 port. The available information does not establish every simultaneous resolution, refresh-rate, cable, or adapter combination. If a multi-monitor setup is essential, confirm the exact display modes in ASUS support documentation for the SKU you plan to buy.
What are the regional price and warranty details?
At access in 2026, the ASUS Singapore Store listed SKU QN10-VQ0019NN at S$2,629 including GST, with a one-year onsite warranty. This is a local, time-sensitive listing, not a worldwide price or guarantee of current stock. Check the ASUS Singapore listing for that region’s current details.

Windows Central’s September 17, 2026 launch coverage reported that ASUS had started shipping and linked to a Best Buy price of $1,349 at the time. Should you buy the ASUS Ascent QN10?
The QN10 is most promising for someone who wants a very small Windows desktop, has applications and peripherals that work on ARM64, and can benefit from its listed ports, dual M.2 capacity, or NPU-equipped platform. The form factor and specifications are concrete; speed in real workloads and application-specific AI benefits remain unproven by the independent coverage described above.
It is a less certain choice if your work depends on fixed x86-only software or drivers, if you need upgradeable RAM, or if you are buying on the assumption that 80 TOPS guarantees a particular local-AI experience. Compare the exact retail price and configuration with alternatives using your actual workloads, memory needs, display setup, and tolerance for compatibility checks—not headline core or TOPS figures alone.
