Antec announced the KÜHLER H2O 920 on April 12, 2011, as a sealed liquid CPU cooler developed with Asetek and positioned as an advancement of the earlier KÜHLER H2O 620. Its launch-era design paired a double-thick radiator with two 120 mm fans and software-based cooling controls; the announcement’s price and availability plans are historical, not current offers.
What was the Antec KÜHLER H2O 920?
The KÜHLER H2O 920 was a sealed, prefilled liquid CPU cooler announced by Antec in partnership with cooling-system manufacturer Asetek. Antec described it as an advancement of the KÜHLER H2O 620. The companies presented the sealed design as requiring no routine liquid refilling; that is a manufacturer description, not an independent assessment of long-term maintenance or reliability. What features did the 920 have?
According to the 2011 launch announcement, its main hardware and control features were:

- A double-thick radiator with two 120 mm fans arranged in a push-pull configuration.
- A low-profile pump, flexible tubes, and a copper cold plate.
- ChillControl V software, which Antec said could monitor and adjust liquid temperature, fan speed, pump speed, and fan profiles.
These are launch specifications and manufacturer claims. The sources do not establish independent thermal, acoustic, or reliability test results for the 920, so they do not support a measured performance ranking against other coolers.
#1 Best Overall
- The mirror lighting pump head design delivers outstanding cooling performance while creating layered, multi-angle lighting effects that add a chic touch to your build.
- Comes with powerful 120mm ARGB PWM radiator fans, delivering strong cooling performance and practical functionality.
- Features a highly efficient cooling pump and a massive copper base plate for improved thermal conductivity.
- Supports Intel LGA 115X/1200/1366/1700/1851/20XX and AMD AM4/AM5 platforms.
How did it differ from the KÜHLER H2O 620?
Antec called the 920 an advancement of the 620 and highlighted the 920’s double-thick radiator, dual-fan push-pull layout, and ChillControl V adjustment options. The available launch material does not provide an independent, side-by-side test establishing how much better the 920 cooled or how much louder it was.
Asetek’s February 2011 description of the 620 mentions flexible tubes, a Gen3 cold plate, and fan control based on liquid temperature. Asetek claimed that the 620’s Gen3 cold plate reduced temperature by 1.5°C per 100 W of processor power. That figure is Asetek’s claim about the 620, not an independent test result and not a specification or result that should be transferred to the 920. Asetek’s February 11, 2011 account of the 620

Who made the KÜHLER H2O cooler?
Antec announced and marketed the 920, while Asetek worked with Antec on its development. The launch release described the partnership and the product as a sealed liquid cooler. This distinction matters: it was an Antec-branded product developed with Asetek, rather than evidence that Antec and Asetek were interchangeable brand names.
Is the KÜHLER H2O 920 compatible with your CPU?
Compatibility cannot be confirmed from the checked official information for today’s CPU sockets. Asetek advises buyers to check the exact cooler’s product details or manual for supported sockets. Do not assume that the current K-series models’ socket listings apply to the older 920. Before using a 920, confirm the exact CPU socket support and mounting hardware for that unit; if those details cannot be verified, do not count on it fitting a modern system. Antec currently lists a KÜHLER H2O K240 in its K-series. That is a separate model: its specifications do not establish the 920’s compatibility or make the two products equivalent. Consult the exact model’s manual and listing for socket support, radiator dimensions and case clearance, fan and pump specifications, warranty, and availability. Antec K240 specifications

Antec’s April 2011 announcement listed a $119.95 preorder price, planned retailer availability at the end of April 2011, and a three-year limited parts-and-labor warranty. Those were launch-era terms; they do not establish current pricing, stock, or warranty coverage for a used or remaining unit.
