The October 9, 2026, headline says argenx regained ground while Orange lost steam, but the accessible record does not verify either stock’s exact move or its cause. The clearest context for argenx is a sharp decline reported the previous day after it ended a Phase 3 Sjögren’s disease study; that earlier session is not evidence of the size or cause of the October 9 move. Orange’s catalyst remains unverified.
What the October 9 headline does—and does not—establish
Boursorama listed the French-language item “argenx reprend des couleurs, Orange perd du jus,” supplied by AOF at 09:51 on October 9, 2026. Its page was not accessible, and the available record does not establish the observation period, exchange data, price changes, trading volume, or catalysts behind the wording. In particular, “regains ground” does not quantify an argenx rebound, and “loses steam” does not establish the size of an Orange decline. The two phrases also do not show that one company’s news affected the other.

October 8: a reported decline after UNITY was terminated
Investing.com reported that argenx shares fell 15.7% to €707.4 during the October 8 session after the company terminated its Phase 3 UNITY study in Sjögren’s disease following an interim review. The same report said the company also announced positive Phase 2 celiac-disease results for FB102. This is secondary reporting about October 8—not a verified figure for October 9—and does not establish the reason for any subsequent move. Investing.com’s October 8 report

August: Forte Biosciences acquisition completed
argenx completed its acquisition of Forte Biosciences in August 2026, and Forte became a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal followed July terms of $77 per Forte share in cash, for an announced equity value of about $2.2 billion. Why Orange’s move cannot yet be explained
The accessible sources do not identify an Orange-specific announcement, a sector development, or another verified catalyst for the headline’s description. Without timestamped share-price data and a relevant company disclosure or market report, attributing the wording to a particular event would be speculation. The headline alone also does not show whether Orange underperformed a relevant index or sector.
