A report dated October 6, 2026 says print editions of Dungeon Crawler Carl are included in Amazon’s US Prime Big Deal Days “3 for 2” sale. But the latest book, A Parade of Horribles, has not been independently confirmed as eligible. Check the Amazon listing and your cart before counting on a discount.
What the sale report says—and what it doesn’t confirm
LitRPG Nerds reported on October 6, 2026, that Dungeon Crawler Carl print books were part of Amazon’s US Prime Big Deal Days 3-for-2 promotion. That is a dated third-party report, not confirmation from a live Amazon promotion page or a tested checkout.
The report does not establish whether A Parade of Horribles qualifies, which editions are included, or whether the promotion remains active when you shop. Amazon’s current listing and cart are the practical checks: add eligible items and verify that the discount appears before placing the order.

Is the latest book in the series included?
A Parade of Horribles is book 8 and the latest installment identified in author Matt Dinniman’s and publisher Penguin Random House’s catalogs. Both list May 12, 2026 as its publication date. Penguin Random House lists a 704-page hardcover, so the title has a physical edition—but that does not confirm its eligibility in Amazon’s promotion.

Dinniman’s official page describes Carl and Donut facing races and vehicle upgrades on the tenth floor, with the mysterious eleventh floor setting up the book’s “Parade of Horribles.” The page lists Amazon among the print buying options, alongside other retailers.
How to check the discount before buying
- Open the Amazon US listing for the exact Dungeon Crawler Carl title and edition you want.
- Check the listing for a current promotion label or terms. Do not assume a series-wide report means every format or title qualifies.
- Add three items that the promotion identifies as eligible to your cart, then check the order summary for the discount before checkout.
- If the discount is missing, recheck the promotion terms and selected editions. Do not place the order expecting Amazon to apply an unshown discount later.
Current prices, stock, and the promotion’s specific eligibility rules are not established by the October 6 report. A June 2026 article described an earlier version where the discount applied to the lowest-priced eligible item, but that historical rule does not establish the October offer’s terms.
