Yes. Assemble Entertainment says Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry and Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice will be removed from Steam after October 23, 2026. VGC reported the announcement on October 9. The report also noted a temporary sale, but did not establish whether either game will remain available on GOG or Nintendo Switch after that date.
Which Leisure Suit Larry games are leaving Steam, and when?
The announced removals are the two newer entries:
- Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry (2018)
- Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice (2020)
As quoted by Video Games Chronicle (VGC), Assemble Entertainment’s Steam notice said the games would “only be available on Steam until October 23. After that, both games will be removed from the store.” That makes October 23, 2026 the stated final day of Steam availability; the notice does not specify a time or time zone. Is there still time to buy them, and what did they cost?
VGC reported on October 9 that both games were discounted 95% on Steam, GOG, and Nintendo Switch, listing them at $1.99 / £0.89 each instead of $39.99 / £35.99. These are prices reported at that time, not guaranteed current prices. VGC said the Steam discount appeared to be US-only and that it was unclear whether Xbox or PlayStation would also receive it. Will they still be available on GOG or Switch?
The October 9 report found both games listed on GOG and Nintendo Switch during the sale, but Assemble had not clarified whether the removal would extend beyond Steam. Their post-October 23 availability on those storefronts was therefore unknown when VGC reported the announcement. A listing on one store does not establish availability on another, and buying from one storefront does not grant access on a different one. Check each store directly rather than assuming the Steam date applies everywhere—or that non-Steam listings will remain.

Can current Steam owners keep playing?
The 2026 report does not reproduce a specific assurance about post-removal access for owners of these two games. Do not assume the policy announced for earlier titles automatically applies to them. If you already own either game, consult Steam’s current terms and any publisher update for the applicable access details.
How this differs from the 2025 delistings
In May 2025, Steam removed the first seven numbered games—there is no Leisure Suit Larry 4—as well as Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude. VGC reported that the earlier games remained playable for existing owners after they left sale, and that those titles remained available on GOG at the time. That earlier outcome is useful context, but it does not confirm the future availability or owner-access terms for Wet Dreams Don’t Dry and Wet Dreams Dry Twice. VGC’s May 2025 report

Assemble did not give a reason in the Steam notice as reported by VGC. A licensing issue has been suggested, but it remains unconfirmed. VGC recounted that an Assemble staff member reportedly said in 2018 that Codemasters owned the intellectual property and licensed exclusive online distribution rights to Assemble. Video Game History Foundation library director Phil Salvador later suggested that the license might not have been renewed after EA acquired Codemasters. Neither possibility was confirmed by the publisher in the removal announcement, so it should not be treated as the established cause. VGC’s report and attribution
