Yes—at the prices reported on October 6, 2026, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are a strong deal, but the lowest price is color-dependent and Amazon’s offers may differ at checkout. 9to5Toys reported Porcelain at $170.05 shipped and other colors at $179, while Google Store listed them for $189. Amazon’s reported Porcelain price is the standout; check the exact color and final price before buying.
Pixel Buds Pro 2 Prime Day prices
These are dated price snapshots, not guaranteed prices for every listing. The Amazon reports differ by color and source, and the price or Prime requirement may change.
| Seller and color | Reported price | Compared with $229 | Conditions and source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon, Porcelain | $170.05 shipped | 9to5Toys characterized this as more than 25% off | Reported October 6, 2026; confirm the specific listing at checkout. 9to5Toys |
| Amazon, other colors | $179 | About $50 off the stated list price | Reported by 9to5Toys October 6, 2026; confirm the specific listing at checkout. 9to5Toys |
| Amazon, Olive | $179 | SoundGuys described this as $50 off, or 22%, from its stated $229 RRP | SoundGuys reported October 6, 2026, that Prime was required. 9to5Toys called Olive a new Amazon all-time low; that claim is attributed to that publisher and does not establish a lowest-ever price across all colors or sellers. SoundGuys |
| Google Store | $189 | $40 off the prior $229 price | Google Store stated the offer ended October 11, 2026. Google Store |
Is the deal worth taking?
If you want the Pixel Buds Pro 2 and can get the color you want near $170–$179, the reported Amazon pricing is notably below the $189 Google Store offer and the $229 stated list price. The $170.05 figure applies to Porcelain in 9to5Toys’ report; do not assume every color or seller has that price. If you need Olive specifically, the reported $179 offer is also $50 below the stated $229 retail price, but SoundGuys says Prime membership was required for that offer.

What you get for the price
Google lists active noise cancellation with Silent Seal 2.0, Transparency mode, Adaptive Audio, Bluetooth 5.4, and an 11 mm driver. The earbuds are rated IP54 and the charging case IPX4. These specifications describe the feature set; they are not independent measurements of sound quality or noise-cancellation performance.
Battery estimates
Google’s manufacturer estimates vary with ANC use:

Fit and comfort
Google says the buds use a twist-to-adjust stabilizer and include multiple eartip sizes. Its product copy says: “Use the twist-to-adjust stabilizer to secure your Pixel Buds Pro 2 in your ear during workouts, or adjust the other way for all-day comfort.” Google also reports analyzing 45 million ear-scan data points in designing the fit; that is a manufacturer-reported design figure, not an independent comfort test. Try the fit and stabilizer adjustment promptly after purchase, particularly if you are sensitive to in-ear pressure or need a secure fit for exercise. Google Store
Rank #3
- Google Pixel Buds 2a deliver lightweight comfort, crisp audio, Active Noise Cancellation, and a dependable battery, all for less[1]
- Hear only what you want to hear; Google Tensor A1 powers Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal 1.5 to help block external noise; or switch to Transparency mode to hear the world around you while you listen
- Immerse yourself in clear, crisp audio with the 11 mm dynamic speaker driver, or customize the levels of bass, treble, and more with the 5-band equalizer
- Pixel Buds 2a are built for lightweight comfort and an impeccable fit; secure them during workouts or commutes with the twist-to-adjust stabilizer, or twist the other direction for relaxed comfort
- Hear and be heard with Clear Calling; it helps block background noise, so wind, external chatter, or other distractions in your environment won’t interrupt your conversations[2]
Check phone compatibility before buying
The earbuds pair with Bluetooth 4.0 or later devices, including iOS, Android, tablets, and laptops. However, pairing is not the same as full feature access. Google says full access requires a Google Account, a companion phone running Android 6.0 or later, and an internet connection. iPhone users can pair the earbuds, but should not assume that Android-dependent features are available. Quick buying checklist
- Choose the color first, then verify its actual price; the lowest reported price was for Porcelain.
- Check whether the offer requires Prime; SoundGuys reported that requirement for its $179 Olive listing.
- Decide whether you need ANC, Transparency mode, or Adaptive Audio, and weigh the manufacturer’s different battery estimates with ANC on and off.
- Consider the stabilizer and included eartip sizes if fit is a concern; Google’s design claim is not an independent comfort assessment.
- If you use an iPhone, confirm that Bluetooth pairing is enough for your needs, since Google specifies Android and account requirements for full feature access.
