Embark says ARC Raiders will replace Raider Decks with update-linked Reward Passes when the Frozen Trail update is scheduled to arrive on October 8, 2026. The change does not remove rewards players have already earned: those stay unlocked, while a free Legacy Pass offers progress toward Raider Deck rewards they missed. Frozen Trail’s new 60-level Reward Pass has a free track and an optional Premium track.
These are Embark’s prelaunch plans as described in announcements published September 23 and 28, 2026; the update had not launched as of October 3, so its live implementation was not yet verified.
What happens to Raider Decks and rewards you already earned?
Embark says previously earned Raider Deck rewards remain unlocked. Instead of losing access to those rewards, players will be able to use the free Legacy Pass to progress toward Raider Deck cosmetics and Raider Tokens they did not earn before the system changes.
The Legacy Pass is separate from the new Frozen Trail Reward Pass. It carries forward Raider Deck rewards; it is not the paid Premium option for Frozen Trail.

How the Frozen Trail Reward Pass works
The announced Frozen Trail Reward Pass has 60 levels and two options: Free and Premium. Both are part of the new update-linked progression system, which Embark says is intended to connect rewards to each update and give players ongoing progression through Feats.
Embark’s stated reason for moving on from Raider Decks is that players accumulated Cred faster than new decks could keep up. The team says some players could complete a new deck immediately, reducing the incentive to continue completing Feats. That is the developer’s explanation for the design change, not an independently measured finding about player behavior.

These contents and token amounts are Embark’s announced specifications, not a post-launch check. The official explainer does not state a cash price for standalone Premium access.
Do you have to pay for the Frozen Trail pass?
No. Embark announced a Free option for the new Reward Pass, and the Legacy Pass is also free. Premium is optional. The developer says Premium access can be obtained for 1,150 Raider Tokens and that completing the Premium track earns back 1,150 Tokens. That describes the token amount; the announcement does not establish a standalone cash price.

What is the Frozen Trail Collector Set?
The Collector Set is optional digital downloadable content, not a requirement to play Frozen Trail or access the free Reward Pass. Steam’s listing says the set requires the base game and includes Premium Reward Pass access, 2,400 Raider Tokens, the Renzo outfit, Dragon’s Breath Weapon Stencil, Bob hairstyle, a Retro Sofa recipe, a Banjo blueprint, and other items. The Steam page listed it as not yet available at the time of the prelaunch announcements, with an October 8, 2026 planned date.
Why Embark is replacing Raider Decks
Embark calls Reward Passes “a natural evolution of Raider Decks, with some added benefits.” Its explanation is that Cred accumulation and the pace of new Raider Deck releases could let some players finish new decks immediately. The new structure is meant to keep Feats tied to ongoing progression and make reward tracks part of each update.

That rationale comes from the ARC Raiders Team, not from an independent evaluation of how players use either system. The announcements establish the intended structure and rewards, but not how the new progression feels in live play.

Embark announced Frozen Trail for October 8, 2026, in its September 28 Reward Pass explainer and September 23 content preview. Since both announcements preceded launch, the level count, reward contents, token figures, and availability described here reflect the announced plan as of October 3, 2026. They do not establish whether the release version or store availability ultimately changed.
