There is no verified “best loot spot” on the Pendola Pass map yet. Embark Studios says loot values in certain areas change from raid to raid under a Dynamic Loot Zone system, so any fixed ranking would be out of date by your next run. What is established is the map’s named locations, its central ARC wreck (the Fallen Emperor), its main hazards, and one launch-day key-room report from a third-party guide. This article separates those confirmed facts from early guide recommendations so you can plan a route for the raid in front of you.
Where Pendola Pass sits in ARC Raiders
Pendola Pass is a frozen Italian village and Exodus transport hub that lies beyond the peaks around the Rust Belt. It arrived with the Frozen Trail 2.0 update on October 8, 2026, according to Embark’s own Frozen Trail 2.0 update notes. Embark first previewed the map on September 23, 2026 in its Frozen Trail First Look, which describes an abandoned settlement with signs of the Exodus Project. The launch announcement was headlined as a free-play window from October 8 to 12, so check whether that promotion is still running before you plan around it.
Why there is no fixed best loot spot
Embark’s patch notes say it is testing a Dynamic Loot Zone system, which is currently exclusive to Pendola Pass. The stated purpose is to vary loot values in certain areas between raids so that routes are less predictable. That means a container cluster that paid off yesterday may be worth less today.

Read the loot-zone cues in your current raid, then choose a location based on the loot category you need, how exposed the route is, and how active the ARC are in that part of the valley. Neither Embark’s materials nor the guide coverage published so far provide a stable, verified ranking or a complete item-by-item drop table.

Named locations on the map
Embark’s preview names these significant locations:
- The supermarket
- The lifeless town square
- The observatory
- The buried train depot
- The Fallen Emperor, the largest ARC wreck on the map
A launch-day guide from Beebom adds two more names, Almatera Station and Railyard, which Embark’s own preview does not list. Its descriptions of those two areas are covered below.
Rank #2
Almatera Station and Railyard compared
Beebom’s Pendola Pass guide, published October 8, 2026, is the only source reviewed that gives location-level loot notes. Treat its statements as early guide reporting, not official confirmation. The table below uses only what that guide reports; “Not stated” means the guide and Embark’s official posts do not say.
| Attribute | Almatera Station | Railyard |
|---|---|---|
| Setting (Beebom, launch day) | Commercial location | Not stated |
| Loot category (Beebom, launch day) | Industrial and mechanical loot | Not stated |
| Container density (Beebom, launch day) | Not stated | Many containers and wall lockers, described as a strong loot area |
| Key-room lead (Beebom, launch day) | Reported Pendola Pass Train Station Room | Not stated |
| Official Embark mention | Not stated | Not stated |
| Loot-value stability | Varies by map instance, per Beebom | Varies by map instance, per Beebom |
These entries are useful for a provisional route, but they are not guaranteed best spots. Because loot values change between raids, a location that the guide calls rich may simply be a good choice for the current raid.

The Fallen Emperor and ARC threats
The Fallen Emperor is the map’s major ARC wreck, and it is the main reason ARC activity is concentrated in the area. Embark says rare technology lies within its collapsed husk. Pendola Pass introduces three new enemies alongside it, according to Embark’s launch announcement.
Hydra
The Hydra is the enemy that guards the Emperor and the Frigate. Embark’s announcement identifies it as the protector of those wrecks, so approaching the Emperor means dealing with the Hydra first.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Key rooms: what is confirmed
The only specific key-room lead in the material reviewed is Beebom’s report of a Pendola Pass Train Station Room at Almatera Station, published on launch day. Embark’s official posts do not list key rooms or confirm this one. No other room names, key requirements, or loot contents have been verified.
To check the lead in your own game:
- Start a Pendola Pass raid and head to Almatera Station.
- Look for a train-station room matching the name in the guide, and note the door and any key it requires.
- Record what the key opens and what the room contains, so that a later raid can confirm or correct the report.
Building a provisional route
Use these checks each time you drop in:
- Confirm which loot category you need, then match it to a location that is described for that category.
- Read the loot-zone cues before committing, since values can differ from the last raid.
- Plan the Hydra and the Emperor approach around a clear exit, not a single long push.
- Keep a shelter point on the route for flash-freeze exposure.
- Treat Beebom’s location notes and key-room report as unverified until you see them in your own raid.
For official updates on the map and its loot system, check Embark’s August 12, 2026 announcement and the update notes linked above.
