Apple has not officially confirmed an Apple Home Collection in the sources available as of October 13, 2026. MacRumors reported on October 12 that Apple is expected to introduce a group of smart-home accessories from brands including LG and Schneider Electric. The reported lineup spans cameras, a doorbell, a deadbolt, a thermostat, and a temperature sensor—but its products, prices, and release plans remain unconfirmed.
What is the reported Apple Home Collection?
The Apple Home Collection is a reported lineup of smart-home accessories expected to work with Apple’s home ecosystem. MacRumors described the products as accessories developed by brands including LG and Schneider Electric, rather than evidence that Apple itself makes every device. The report does not amount to an official Apple announcement. MacRumors’s October 12, 2026 report is the source for the Collection and its expected categories.

That has not been established for the reported Collection. Apple’s existing Home app supports compatible smart-home accessories, but compatibility with Apple Home is not the same as a product being made by Apple or belonging to this reported lineup. Apple’s US Home app page describes the platform and gives examples of compatible products, including the Logitech Circle View Wired Doorbell, ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium, and Level Lock+. Apple does not identify those examples as Collection devices.

Apple says the Home app can be used for compatible accessories such as cameras, locks, and thermostats, as well as automation. Apple TV and HomePod can act as home hubs in its existing setup. Those current ecosystem details do not confirm which connectivity, hub requirements, features, or automations any future Collection product will support.
What can you buy or use with Apple Home now?
Apple’s compatibility examples offer a concrete starting point for people who want doorbell, thermostat, or lock functions in Apple Home today: Logitech Circle View Wired Doorbell, ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium, and Level Lock+. They are existing compatible-accessory examples on Apple’s US page, not announced members of the reported Collection. Check the product and Apple Home requirements before purchasing, since the Collection report does not establish whether its devices will be available or what they will require.
