Anupriya Patel says the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is aiming to form the Uttar Pradesh government for another term in 2027, while Apna Dal (S) is targeting wins in every seat it contests. These are the party’s political forecast and target—not an election result or an independently verified projection.
What Anupriya Patel said about the 2027 Uttar Pradesh election
Hindustan Times reported on October 3, 2026, that Patel, Apna Dal (S) chief and a Union minister, voiced confidence that the NDA would score a “hat-trick” in Uttar Pradesh. She said, “Our goal is to form the NDA government again in UP in 2027.” The remark is her stated goal, not evidence of how voters will decide the election. Hindustan Times report
The report does not specify exactly which earlier victories the “hat-trick” phrase counts. The Election Commission of India’s archive index lists Uttar Pradesh assembly election result records for 2017 and 2022, but those records do not establish the outcome of the 2027 contest or validate Patel’s forecast. What Apna Dal (S)’s “100% strike rate” means
The figure refers to Patel’s target that Apna Dal (S) win every seat it contests. It is not a claim that the party expects to win every Uttar Pradesh seat, nor is it a vote-share figure or a measured record of past performance. The report does not state how many seats the party expects to contest.

What the party discussed at its Lucknow meeting
According to Hindustan Times, Patel made the remarks at an organisational review meeting at Apna Dal (S)’s camp office in Lucknow. The meeting covered preparations for the 2027 assembly election, booth management and strengthening the party organisation.
Patel’s stated plan was for NDA candidates to contest every seat, with party workers campaigning for alliance candidates. The report describes this as the goal discussed at the meeting, not a confirmed seat-sharing arrangement.

Patel’s criticism of Opposition claims
Patel criticised Opposition questions about the Election Commission, voter lists and the electoral process. She alleged that the Opposition had gained some electoral benefit in Uttar Pradesh in 2024 by creating an atmosphere of “lies and confusion.” That is her allegation as reported by Hindustan Times; the report does not independently substantiate it.

What Patel said about Divya Mittal
Hindustan Times reported that Patel did not give a direct answer when asked about former IAS officer Divya Mittal. The report says Mittal resigned on August 30 and indicated she might contest from Mirzapur; it does not confirm that she will run.
Patel’s husband, state minister Ashish Patel, was quoted as saying: “In a democracy, everyone is free to contest an election from a place of their choice.”
