Anker’s upgraded Nano Charger (45W, Smart Display) is now listed in the UK. The key reported additions are over-the-air (OTA) updates through the Anker app and support for AVS charging; the compact plug also has one USB-C port rated up to 45W and a built-in display.
What changed in the upgraded Anker Nano 45W charger?
Notebookcheck reported on 6 October 2026 that the UK version adds two features to the earlier Anker Nano Charger (45W, Smart Display): OTA updates and AVS charging support. Anker’s UK wall-charger collection also lists the named 45W Smart Display charger as a new release, though the collection listing alone does not confirm revision-specific features.
OTA updates through the Anker app
According to Notebookcheck, the upgraded charger can receive OTA updates through the Anker app. The report says this will allow recognition of future iPhone models to be added. It does not establish which future models will be supported or when such updates will arrive.

AVS charging support
The upgraded model adds AVS charging support. Notebookcheck describes the feature as designed to help prevent device battery wear; that is the stated purpose, not a quantified or guaranteed battery-life benefit. Check the charging specifications for your device before relying on this protocol.

What the charger offers physically
The charger has a single USB-C port rated for up to 45W, a built-in display, and Care Mode, which is intended to adjust power output in real time. Notebookcheck reports the UK model’s dimensions as 77.3 × 35.8 × 34.0 mm and its weight as 90 g. Its pins do not fold, so account for that when packing it or using a crowded outlet.
The report refers to the earlier product as the same Anker Nano Charger (45W, Smart Display) and mentions an earlier launch in China in 2025. That does not establish a complete launch timeline for every market.
