Verdict: Anker’s MagGo Foldable 3-in-1 (model A2557) is a compact, plug-in Qi2 travel charger for a compatible iPhone, Apple Watch and wireless-charging earbuds. It delivers up to 15W to the phone and 5W each to the watch and earbuds, folds to 3.50 × 2.36 × 0.98 inches and weighs 6.9 ounces (195.6 grams). It is genuinely useful when luggage space matters, but it is not a power bank and its small folding layout creates positioning and device-removal compromises.
What the Anker MagGo Foldable 3-in-1 is
The A2557 combines three wireless charging surfaces in one folding body: a magnetic Qi2 phone charger, an Apple Watch charging module and a pad for compatible wireless-charging earbuds. Anker describes the intended use as charging an iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch simultaneously.
The phone section tilts between 60 and 70 degrees, allowing portrait or landscape viewing while charging. Folded, the station measures 3.50 × 2.36 × 0.98 inches and weighs 6.9 ounces (195.6 grams), according to Anker’s product information and guide.

Anker lists compatibility with iPhone 12 through iPhone 17 series, Apple Watch Ultra 1 and 2, Apple Watch Series 1 through 10 and Apple Watch SE, plus AirPods models with wireless-charging cases. Compatibility can still vary with the exact device, case and charging-case design.
Cases can interfere with alignment
Anker advises against non-magnetic phone cases and cases thicker than 2.5 mm for best wireless charging. A thick, rigid or poorly aligned case can prevent the phone from attaching securely or reduce charging reliability even when the phone model itself is supported.

It must be plugged in
The A2557 has no internal battery. It cannot charge your devices in a hotel room, airport lounge or car unless the station itself is connected to external power. Anker recommends a 40W adapter; whether that adapter is included depends on the specific regional listing and bundle, so verify the box contents before buying.
This requirement is easy to overlook because the unit folds like a portable battery accessory. In practice, it is a compact desktop or bedside charger that travels well, not a charger that supplies power away from an outlet.

How to set it up for travel
- Confirm the model. Check the product label or listing for A2557 rather than assuming every Anker foldable 3-in-1 has the same dimensions or accessories.
- Pack the required power source. Bring the recommended 40W adapter and a suitable cable if your bundle does not provide them.
- Unfold the station. Adjust the phone module within its 60–70-degree range and choose portrait or landscape orientation.
- Attach the phone. Center a compatible magnetic iPhone on the Qi2 surface. Remove or replace cases that exceed 2.5 mm or lack suitable magnetic alignment.
- Place the watch and earbuds. Set the Apple Watch on its charging module and the earbuds case on the lower pad, then check that each device indicates charging.
Travel strengths
Three devices in one footprint
One station replaces a separate phone stand, Apple Watch puck and earbuds pad. That reduces the number of loose accessories in a carry-on and lets one outlet serve the devices you are most likely to charge overnight.
Small folded form
The folded A2557 is substantially easier to slip into a small tech pouch than a full-size multi-device stand. Its 6.9-ounce weight is also manageable for travel, although it is heavier than a bare phone cable and puck.

Adjustable viewing angle
The phone module can remain visible at a 60–70-degree angle, making it practical for a bedside table or hotel desk when you want to see notifications without picking up the phone.
Trade-offs you should expect
Compact geometry limits placement
Reviewers at TechRadar and Tom’s Guide describe placement constraints caused by the compact folding layout. The phone may not always sit completely flat while the lower charging pad is in use, and the watch cradle can feel crowded. These are handling characteristics of the foldable design rather than charging-output limits.

Strong magnets can make removal awkward
TechRadar found the magnetic attachment secure but noted that removing a phone can require more deliberate handling. Lift the phone from the edge rather than pulling straight up if the folded station starts to move with it.
Watch Ultra positioning may need adjustment
Anker’s guide says an Apple Watch Ultra can fail to charge in one combination of a closed phone module and fully extended watch module. The stated workaround is to adjust the watch module rather than assuming the watch or charger is defective.
What the published charging times mean
Charging speed depends on the device, battery state, temperature, case and power setup. TechRadar recorded 116 minutes to recharge an iPhone 13 Pro and 63 minutes for an Apple Watch Series 9 with the Foldable Pad in its hands-on testing. Those are results for that reviewer’s devices and conditions, not universal guarantees for every A2557 owner.

Separately, Anker claims on its A25M8 product page that an Apple Watch Series 9 can reach 30 percent from zero in 22 minutes. That figure is a manufacturer claim for the related A25M8 configuration, not an independent test of every A2557 setup.
Who should buy the A2557?
- Buy it if: you carry an iPhone, Apple Watch and wireless-charging earbuds; want one compact travel station; and will normally have access to an outlet.
- Choose another setup if: you need charging away from mains power, use a thick or non-magnetic case, want a phone to lie flat while every pad is occupied, or prefer a roomier adjustable stand.
TechRadar suggests considering ESR’s Qi2 3-in-1 Travel Wireless Charging Set if you have more luggage room and prioritize an adjustable stand. That type of design may be easier to position, but it gives up some of the A2557’s folded compactness.
