The Anker MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro (A110R) is a 10,000mAh magnetic power bank built around a higher-than-usual 25W wireless ceiling, active cooling, and an adjustable stand. Macworld’s test found strong capacity and faster charging with cooling enabled, but the unit is thicker than simpler options and its fan is audible nearby. It makes most sense if your iPhone can use the higher wireless rate and you value speed and the stand more than a slim, silent design.
What is the Anker MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro?
The A110R is a 10,000mAh (39.2Wh) magnetic battery with Qi2.2-compatible wireless charging rated up to 25W. Its USB-C port supports input and output up to 45W. Anker Canada lists the power bank at 220g and 70.9 × 105.15 × 17.8mm, with an adjustable stand that tilts from 0 to 80 degrees. A display shows charging and battery information. Anker’s Canadian product listing includes a 0.3m USB-C-to-USB-C cable, a storage pouch, and a welcome guide; the listing states a 24-month warranty, though warranty terms may differ by market.
The included cable is separate rather than built into the bank. That is a small but relevant convenience difference if you prefer not to carry a cable; Macworld notes that at least one competing model has an integrated cable, but that feature is not universal among alternatives.
How fast does the Anker MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro charge?
Its 25W figure is a maximum, not a rate every compatible iPhone can use. Anker lists iPhone 13–18 series compatibility except iPhone 16e. Macworld says iPhone 16 and later can use the full 25W, while older compatible iPhones are limited to 15W. Check your exact model before paying extra for the higher ceiling.

Macworld’s September 2026 review tested an iPhone 16 Pro and recorded a 50% charge in 30 minutes with active cooling on, compared with 33 minutes in Silent Mode. Those results belong to that phone and test setup; they do not establish a guaranteed charge time or a universal speed gain from the fan. The review says the fan can be heard at close range.
Anker’s figures are manufacturer claims, not measurements replicated by Macworld. Anker says an iPhone 17 Pro can reach 25% in 10 minutes and 50% in 25 minutes, and that the bank can recharge to 80% in 52 minutes using 45W input. Its product marketing also says the fan, dual air channels, and graphene layers keep temperature below 36°C (96.8°F). These claims depend on the stated setup and should not be treated as independent test results.

The USB-C port’s 45W rating is useful when you want to recharge the bank by cable or charge another device. To approach the bank’s maximum input rate, the charger and cable must support an appropriate USB-C charging protocol and power level; the product box supplies a short cable, not a wall charger. Anker’s product page describes the included items and charging claims, while its support page lists supported charging protocols.
How many times can it recharge an iPhone?
Capacity ratings do not translate into a fixed number of full phone recharges: the result varies with the phone’s battery, charging losses, and how the power bank is used. Macworld tested capacity by draining an iPhone and repeatedly charging it until the bank was empty. In that publication’s 2026 test, the MagGo 2 Pro delivered 199% total charge; Macworld said the 10,000mAh power banks it had tested averaged 174%. These are results from Macworld’s method, not a promise of two complete charges for every iPhone. The reviewer also notes that environmental conditions affect results.

Is the fan noisy, and what does cooling add?
Active cooling is the trade-off behind the bank’s headline design. In Macworld’s iPhone 16 Pro test, cooling enabled reached 50% in 30 minutes, while Silent Mode took 33 minutes. The reviewer heard the fan at close range, although the review described some other products as louder. If you charge beside a sleeping person, in a quiet office, or while holding the phone, fan noise may matter more than the measured time difference. Silent Mode is available when quiet operation takes priority.
Does the stand and display make it easier to use?
The rear stand adjusts from flat to 80 degrees, so you can prop up the phone while it charges rather than holding it or finding a separate support. The display provides battery and charging information. Those features add practical value for desk or bedside use, but they do not change the bank’s capacity or its model-dependent wireless charging rate.

How does it compare with a simpler 10,000mAh magnetic bank?
The A110R is aimed at buyers who prioritize a higher wireless ceiling and active cooling over the thinnest, simplest pack. Macworld describes it as chunkier and pricier than some rivals, and compares it with Anker’s previous 15W MagGo and other 25W magnetic banks. Those distinctions should be checked model by model: a competitor may have an integrated cable, but that is not a feature of every alternative.

Prices in the sources vary by region and date. On October 7, 2026, Anker Canada listed the A110R at CA$149.99 and showed Phantom Gray as a preorder expected to ship in early November. Macworld’s September 25, 2026 review listed $109.99 or £99.99 and also mentioned euro-denominated retailer offers. These are separate market listings, not directly interchangeable prices; check the current listing and local stock before buying. Should you buy the Anker MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro?
Consider the A110R if you have an iPhone model that can take 25W wireless charging, want the option of active cooling, and will use the stand or display. Macworld reviewer Simon Jary praised its battery-test performance, fast wireless charging, 45W USB-C, and adjustable kickstand; that is the reviewer’s verdict, not an independent certification.
Choose a thinner or simpler 10,000mAh bank if the extra bulk, close-range fan noise, or price outweighs faster magnetic charging and the stand for your use. The decision depends less on the 25W headline than on your phone model and whether you will actually use the cooling and convenience features.
