To complete Secret of the Golden Helmet in Aniimo, travel to the pedestal near First Sight Sanctum in Russet Highlands, use an Aniimo with Cloak to get past the guard, interact with the Golden Helmet, then capture the Mountain Woods Helmut that appears. The scene is described by walkthrough publishers as hidden and unmarked rather than a quest with a normal map marker.
Where to find Secret of the Golden Helmet
Fast-travel to First Sight Sanctum in Russet Highlands, then head west toward a group of Helmuts and a pedestal. The location is reported near community-map coordinates (-597, 1628); treat those coordinates as approximate guidance, not an official in-game marker. The walkthroughs say the scene does not appear in the normal Journey log or as a map-marked quest.
Destructoid’s September 21, 2026 walkthrough, Power Up Gaming’s September 21, 2026 guide, and GAMES.GG’s updated September 21, 2026 guide describe the location and sequence. An official walkthrough was not surfaced, so these directions reflect secondary guides.

Prepare before approaching the pedestal
Bring an Aniimo that can use Cloak. The guides list Wisptis, Ignitis, and Fulmintis as possible choices. A guide reports that Wisptis can be found in Berylline Vale at night; another says Fulmintis requires the Advanced Edition of the Companion Handbook. The available information does not establish that this handbook is a physical retail item or currently available, and you do not need to rely on Fulmintis if you have another Cloak-capable Aniimo.
Carry capture items and prepare your team for an encounter. That is a practical precaution: the reported sequence ends with a creature to capture, rather than a separately documented combat challenge.
Complete the quest step by step
- Travel to the area. Fast-travel to First Sight Sanctum in Russet Highlands and follow the directions west toward the gathered Helmuts and pedestal.
- Activate Cloak before closing in. Twine with a Cloak-capable Aniimo and use its Cloak ability before approaching the pedestal. The guides describe this as the way to pass the Devoted Helmut guarding the scene without alerting it.
- Interact with the Golden Helmet. While cloaked, approach the pedestal and interact with the Golden Helmet. The reported result is a Mountain Woods Helmut encounter.
- Capture the Mountain Woods Helmut. Capture it to complete the scene, according to the walkthroughs.
Which Cloak-capable Aniimo should you use?
The guides identify several options but do not provide a consistent ranking, so there is no established universally best choice. Use whichever listed Cloak-capable Aniimo you can access most conveniently.
