To release an Aniimo, open Aniimo Management, go to Aniimo Storage, choose Manage, select the creature, and press Release. Review the confirmation list before confirming: released Aniimo are permanently removed from storage. Farewell Gifts can include Growth Buds, but the reward contents and quantities may vary.
How to release an Aniimo
- Open the main menu. On PC, the guide says to press Esc; other platforms may use different inputs.
- Choose Aniimo Management, then open Aniimo Storage.
- Select Manage and choose the Aniimo you want to release.
- Press Release.
- Check the confirmation list carefully, then confirm only if it contains the intended Aniimo.
This menu sequence and the PC input are reported by Nerd’s Chalk’s release guide. The guide does not establish equivalent button labels or inputs for console and mobile.
What Farewell Gifts do you get?
Nerd’s Chalk reports that Farewell Gifts can include Growth Buds. The guide says each Growth Bud grants 1,000 Aniimo EXP when used, but the contents and quantities of Farewell Gifts can vary by creature. Check the reward screen for the actual items and amounts rather than expecting a fixed gift for every release.
Windows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteCheck the selection before confirming
Release is permanent according to the procedural guide, so treat the confirmation screen as your final chance to catch an unwanted selection. Before confirming, inspect each Aniimo’s rarity, stats, skills, traits, and possible use in a future team. Be especially careful if selecting several at once.
You can choose creatures individually or use multi-selection in Manage mode. Individual selection is easier to inspect one at a time; bulk selection can be more convenient, but the source does not quantify time saved or error rates. In either case, verify the full confirmation list before proceeding.
A separate guide discusses refunds for levelling materials and losses of certain upgrades, but those details are not confirmed by the official source reviewed. Do not rely on a presumed refund or recovered upgrade; read any in-game warning shown before confirming. The claims appear in Aniimo Eggs’ guide and should be treated as unofficial.
