The most direct route to a Perfect Sparkling Inferlupa is to capture an eligible Emberpup with a Sparkling Cube, evolve it into Flameruff, then choose Inferlupa after unlocking the branch through Journey: Warrior. If you are saving the rare Cube, Nurture can help you search for a Perfect-potential candidate, but it does not guarantee either Perfect potential or Sparkling appearance.

For the Cube route, the detailed guide recommends catching an eligible Emberpup, checking its tags, evolving it into Flameruff, then selecting Inferlupa after Journey: Warrior. The guide also warns that the game reportedly keeps the last pod equipped, so switch away from the Sparkling Cube after use to avoid accidentally using another.
For Nurture, catch rather than defeat eligible Emberpup and Flameruff, then appraise your catches. The guide reports 25 Nurture chances per day; treat that as a source-reported allowance that may change and check the current Nurture screen.

The progression is Emberpup (Lumin) to Flameruff (Gamma) to Inferlupa (Nova). Emberpup cannot skip directly to Inferlupa. Only Basic-form Flameruff is described as eligible for the Inferlupa branch; Highland and Mountain Woods forms are not. Inspect the form label before spending evolution materials. The guide says evolving preserves potential and Sparkling status.

These encounter details are listed in the September 24, 2026 guide; a location does not establish that a Flameruff is Basic form. You can also raise Emberpup into Flameruff. Do not confuse the separate Scorchhowl branch with an intermediate step toward Inferlupa.
Unlock Nurture at Beast Fang Ridge
The detailed guide says Beast Fang Ridge Nurture opens after reaching at least 40% caught completion in the area. It suggests offering Fire Shards to attract Fire types. Nurture is a way to search for candidates; appraisal is still needed to find out whether a catch has Perfect potential.
Unlock the Inferlupa evolution and verify materials
Complete Journey: Warrior to unlock the Flameruff-to-Inferlupa route, and raise the Aniimo to level 20. The sources agree on six Unbroken Flameruff Spirits but disagree on the Night Stone count: Aniimo Guide lists one, while Nerd’s Chalk lists three. Check the current in-game evolution panel before committing items. Nerd’s Chalk says a Flux Crystal can replace a Night Stone, but not the required spirits.

The detailed guide describes Warrior as a multi-server-date quest at Beast Fang Ridge. Its final encounter unlocks the evolution route; it does not award Inferlupa directly. The described progression involves gathering Spirit Link records and then farming Unbroken Flameruff Spirits. Its estimate of a three-to-five-minute spawn wait is not a guaranteed timer.
What Inferlupa brings to Break teams
Aniimo Guide lists Inferlupa as a Fire/Dark Aniimo in the Break role, with BREAK 108 and a level-one base-stat total of 541. The listed level-one values are HP 95, ATK 89, P.DEF 70, M.DEF 80, BREAK 108, and REGEN 99. Daily Aniimo reports the same values; Nerd’s Chalk lists HP 96 instead. Check the current in-game display for the live value. These are species base-stat references, not guaranteed final stats for an individual.
The key Break skill is Unbroken Flameruff Spirit (Dark Physical; cost 20; power 60). Its listed effect increases BREAK efficiency by 10% per stack, up to three stacks, for 20 seconds. It ricochets five times by default and seven times in Full Energy. Other listed skills are:

Daily Aniimo says Full Energy activates after eight basic attacks and enhances the next skill. Because BREAK gauge damage depends on more than the BRK stat, check each ability’s BREAK tag and consider element matchup. The available references do not establish a controlled, tested optimal rotation, so treat any proposed sequence as theorycraft rather than a proven best combo.
Use the BREAK window to improve capture chances
The capture guide’s recommended sequence is to engage the target, drain its BREAK gauge, then throw an Aniipod during the vulnerable window. It reports Aniipod Pro at 1.5× capture chance; Aniipod Mega and Hyper at 2×; and Aniipod Ultra as a guaranteed catch with at least Elite potential. Its item effects are attributed to Aniimo 1.0 client descriptions extracted September 17, 2026.
For Alphas and Omegas, Aniimo Guide’s Break-role page quotes the game as saying, “While in BREAK or BREAK Recovery state, they take greatly increased damage.” It supplies no numerical damage multiplier. The page also reports a secondary analysis of 201 rows from a game table in which BREAK damage was unaffected by level gap; that is not presented as an official developer statement.
The capture guide reports conflicting Tumbler multipliers by language: English lists 2× and 6× for Nurture-drawn targets, while French lists 1.5× and 3×. Those figures are not settled; check the current client in your language and version.
