To evolve an Aniimo, select it in the management interface, open Attributes → Evolve, choose a destination, and check every listed condition before committing. There is no single level chart that applies to every evolution: level, materials, unlocks, creature traits, location, time, and weather can vary by route.

How to evolve an Aniimo

  1. Select the Aniimo you want to evolve in the management interface. On PC, a separate guide lists P as the shortcut to the Aniimo list.
  2. Open Attributes → Evolve.
  3. Choose the destination branch you want and read the full requirement list, including materials and any conditions beyond level.
  4. Meet the displayed requirements, then confirm the evolution only after checking that the selected destination is the one you intend.

Use the game’s displayed route as the authority for the specific Aniimo in front of you. Community databases can help with planning, but route details may change.

Why there is no universal evolution level chart

Evolution is tied to an individual creature and its destination. The unofficial AniimoVerse route reference reports 53 base-form species routes, plus 54 additional branches for regional, weather, or Prismana forms. It also lists nine base routes with no item cost. These are AniimoVerse’s community-maintained counts, updated 23 September 2026—not official publisher statistics. Different branches may have different levels, conditions, and costs, so a level chart without the target form can mislead.

What an evolution may require

A route can combine a level threshold with one or more other requirements. The types documented in community references include:

  • Defeating a specified Alpha or Omega.
  • Reaching an exact location, or meeting a time- or weather-based condition.
  • Having a particular personality tag or acquired Potential on the candidate Aniimo.
  • Learning a named passive talent.
  • Completing a world action, such as opening chests or exchanging an Aniimo.
  • Supplying a route-specific material, such as an elemental evolution stone.

Some references distinguish account-wide unlocks from requirements attached to one creature. For example, an Alpha/Omega defeat may unlock a route for the account, while personality, Potential, or a Pathfinder-skill condition may need to be satisfied by the specific candidate. Check the route description in-game to see which applies.

Evolution stones and other materials

Materials are route-specific, not universal. Some base routes in the AniimoVerse reference have no item cost; others use elemental evolution stones or other materials. That reference describes elemental stones as obtainable through in-game Alpha drops and vendor stock, and Flux Crystal as an in-game substitute for an elemental stone. Confirm both the item and quantity on the selected route’s Evolve screen before spending resources.

How to choose between evolution branches

When a creature has multiple destinations, compare the actual target form and the full stat line rather than assuming one branch is always best. Include the extra unlocks, material cost, and any location, time, weather, or availability restrictions in the decision. If you already know the role you want the Aniimo to fill, compare the complete stat lines against that role before investing time or materials.

Form-specific routes can add conditions that do not apply to the basic form. AniimoVerse reports additional regional, weather, night, and Prismana branches; check the exact destination rather than reusing a basic-form recipe.

Evolution blocked despite meeting the level

Work through the route’s displayed conditions in this order. Not every route uses every check.

  1. Open the candidate’s Attributes → Evolve screen and verify the chosen destination.
  2. Check the candidate Aniimo’s level requirement; do not confuse it with Pathfinder level.
  3. Look for an account unlock, such as a required Alpha/Omega defeat or quest, and complete it if needed.
  4. Check creature-specific conditions, including personality, Potential, and any required learned passive talent.
  5. For a location, time, or weather condition, go to the stated place and meet the stated condition when the game checks it.
  6. Confirm that you have the exact route-specific materials and quantities.
  7. If the route appears event- or season-linked, check whether it is currently available in-game.

Check volatile route details in-game

Community references are useful for planning but are unofficial and can lag behind patches or event rotations. Aniimo Wiki says its guide was last verified on 30 September 2026 against game version 1.0 (v1.0.3544783.0). It reports that an official patch note for Squarrel said, “Changed the type of item consumed to evolve Squarrel,” but the note did not name the replacement item; the guide says its post-patch item had not been independently re-extracted. The current Squarrel cost therefore should not be treated as established by that guide. Check the in-game Evolve screen for the current requirement.

For other named routes, community pages may identify useful leads, but verify the exact recipe and current availability in-game before collecting or spending materials.
