Samsung has not announced the Galaxy S27 Ultra: the specifications circulating now are preliminary rumors. Amazon, by contrast, has announced three new Android tablets with Alexa+ built in. And the HONOR display claim that can be identified here belongs to the HONOR 600 Series—not necessarily the model intended by the phrase “HONOR’s new display.”
Galaxy S27 Ultra specs: what is confirmed and what is rumor?
There are no confirmed Galaxy S27 Ultra specifications in the available announcements. A PhoneArena page updated October 6, 2026 labels its S27 information “not official” and “preliminary,” and estimates an announcement in February 2027. That timing is the page’s estimate, not a Samsung commitment. PhoneArena’s rumor page should be treated as speculation, not a Samsung product specification sheet.
The latest official Samsung context located is the Galaxy S26 series announcement, published February 25, 2026. Samsung says the S26 Ultra introduces a built-in Privacy Display; that is an S26 feature, not evidence that the S27 Ultra will include it. Samsung’s S26 announcement does not confirm an S27 chipset, camera, screen, memory, battery, charging, price, or release date.
What is new about HONOR’s display?
The description is ambiguous: the available HONOR announcements concern different products and do not identify which one the title means. One specific claim belongs to the HONOR 600 Series. In its April 22, 2026 announcement, HONOR describes a 6.57-inch display with peak brightness of 8,000 nits. That figure is HONOR’s manufacturer claim; no independent brightness measurement is established here. HONOR’s 600 Series announcement supports that model-family claim, but does not establish that the 600 Series is the display referred to by the broader wording.

A separate HONOR announcement from March 1, 2026 discusses the Magic V6 and “advanced display engineering.” It does not establish that the Magic V6 is the model behind the same display reference, nor does it substantiate the 600 Series brightness figure. HONOR’s MWC 2026 announcement should therefore be read as a separate product update.
Amazon’s new Alexa tablets: models and announced features
Amazon announced three models on October 8, 2026: Alexa Tablet 12 Pro, Alexa Tablet 11, and Alexa Tablet 8. Amazon says all three run Android, provide Google Play Store access, and have Alexa+ built into the experience. The announcement does not establish regional retail availability or current listings. Amazon’s announcement is the source for the announced lineup and specifications below.

Alexa Tablet 12 Pro
Amazon specifies a 12-inch display with 280 PPI, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 3:2 aspect ratio. It is offered in standard and Nanomatte display options. Amazon says the Nanomatte treatment uses precision-etched anti-glare technology developed with Corning through a photolithography process, and is intended to reduce glare while retaining detail and color. Those are Amazon’s descriptions, not independent display test results.
Amazon also claims up to 16 hours of video playback for the 12 Pro. This is a manufacturer estimate, not a measured result under independently specified playback conditions.

Alexa Tablet 11 and Alexa Tablet 8
Amazon names these as the other two tablets in the lineup and says they share Android, Google Play Store access, and built-in Alexa+. The announcement information available here does not state their display sizes, refresh rates, battery estimates, or other detailed hardware specifications.
12 Pro accessories
Amazon announced a Pro Pen for the 12 Pro with USI 2.0, 4,096 pressure levels, tilt detection, magnetic docking, and wireless charging. The magnetic Pro Keyboard attaches without Bluetooth pairing. The announcement identifies both as designed for the 12 Pro; it does not establish that either accessory is included with the tablet.

What to take away before buying or upgrading
- For an S27 Ultra purchase decision, wait for Samsung’s announcement: the present S27 information is explicitly unofficial, and no confirmed specification or price is established.
- For HONOR, check the exact model name before applying the 8,000-nit figure; the claim described here is for the 600 Series and comes from HONOR.
- For Amazon’s lineup, compare the specific retail listing in your country for availability, price, and whether the Pro Pen or keyboard is bundled. The announcement alone does not settle those details.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
