Hyatt’s first branded property in Turks & Caicos is Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay, a resort on Providenciales with direct access to Grace Bay Beach. The opening timeline has shifted: Hyatt once projected May 2026, while a June 2026 report said stays were available to book from June 1, 2027. That booking date is not, by itself, confirmation of the resort’s operational opening.
What is the new Hyatt resort in Turks & Caicos?
It is Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay, an Andaz-branded Hyatt resort on Providenciales. The Points Guy described it in June 2026 as the first Hyatt-branded property in Turks & Caicos. That is a claim about Hyatt’s branded presence in the islands, not evidence that the resort had already opened.
When does Andaz Turks & Caicos open?
The exact operational opening date is not confirmed by the available official property information. Hyatt’s January 26, 2026 pipeline announcement described the property as expected to open in May 2026. On June 10, 2026, The Points Guy reported that reservations were being accepted for stays beginning June 1, 2027. A first bookable stay date may differ from an official opening date, so check Hyatt’s current booking calendar for availability and updates rather than treating either forecast as proof the resort is operating.

Where is the resort, and what is nearby?
Hyatt lists the address as 1 Penn’s Road, The Bight Settlement, Providenciales, and describes the resort as having direct access to Grace Bay’s beach and water. Hyatt also lists Bight Reef as a nearby attraction 255 meters away. The Points Guy reported snorkeling nearby; the reef’s proximity does not establish that snorkeling equipment, guided trips, or excursions are included.

What rooms, residences, and facilities are listed?
Hyatt’s property page currently lists 59 hotel rooms and 73 residences. The Points Guy’s June 2026 report gives the same room count but lists 74 residences. Because the published residence totals differ, use Hyatt’s current property listing for its own specification and treat the other figure as a separately attributed report, not a settled combined count.
Hyatt names three dining venues—Baie, Palmette, and Tamarà—and lists pools, cabanas, Runa Spa, fitness facilities, a kids club, reef conservation, free internet, and parking. The Points Guy additionally reported tennis and pickleball courts, an on-site spa, and three restaurants and bars. Facility descriptions can change; consult Hyatt’s property page for current details before planning around a particular amenity.

What should travelers verify before planning a stay?
- Operating status: Confirm directly with Hyatt whether the resort is welcoming guests for your dates; the stated June 1, 2027 date came from a report about bookable stays.
- Live availability and rates: Check Hyatt’s booking calendar for your exact dates. The cited sources do not establish current rates, award pricing, or inventory.
- Accommodation type: Compare the room and residence options shown for your dates, and verify the current residence count with Hyatt if it matters to your decision.
- Activities and inclusions: Confirm with the resort whether reef access, equipment, excursions, dining, and recreational facilities are available or included during your stay.
For historical context, Visit Turks and Caicos Islands’ August 2025 development overview forecast an early-2026 opening and listed 59 rooms and 74 residences. Like the earlier Hyatt pipeline estimate, that was a forecast rather than confirmation of the opening.
