Innersloth recommends signing out of your account after each session, but its published guidance does not show a mobile logout button or a verified sequence for Android or iPhone. Check the game’s Account area for a sign-out option; if none appears, contact Innersloth’s Help Desk rather than unlinking accounts or changing app data.
Where to look for a sign-out option
-
Open Among Us and check the Account area on the title screen.
-
Look for an option explicitly labeled to sign out or log out. Innersloth’s FAQ confirms that the title-screen Account tab is used for account actions such as changing a username, but it does not confirm that a logout control is there.

- Life as a Crewmate: Complete all your tasks on the ship to win but watch out for Impostors. Report dead bodies and call emergency meetings to vote the Impostors out. Hope you chose correctly
- Play as an Impostor: Cause chaos, sneak around, and frame innocent bystanders. Winning involves killing off every Crewmate - think you’re a master of sabotage
- Customization: Choose how you want to play. Add more impostors, tasks, decrease visibility and more. All in style as you get to choose your favorite color, outfit, and hat
- Cross-platform: Play with your friends between PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, Android, and iOS
Innersloth’s Terms of Use for the Games, §3, effective May 26, 2021, say: “To help ensure the security of your account, please sign out from your account at the end of each session.” The terms give that security recommendation but do not explain how to sign out in the mobile game.
Signing out is different from unlinking accounts
Innersloth’s account-linking guide explains how to merge accounts across platforms and discusses unlinking in the context of a particular merge setup. It is not a mobile logout tutorial, and the guide does not say that unlinking logs you out of the game. Do not unlink a Google, Apple, or other platform account as a substitute for a sign-out control.

Why Android and iPhone steps may differ
Innersloth’s Help Center lists both Android and iOS as platforms for Among Us, but that does not establish that the account interface is identical across operating systems or game versions. The official material reviewed does not establish whether current mobile versions display a sign-out control or where it appears. If you need to switch identities and cannot find an explicit logout option, describe your device and game version when contacting the Help Desk.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsWhat not to use as a workaround
-
Do not clear app data or uninstall the game just to try to sign out; the official guidance cited here does not confirm those steps as safe logout methods.
