AMD’s appointment of Anjana Srinivasan as senior director of EMEA commercial channel sales was reported on 15 May 2025. The role puts her in charge of advancing the company’s commercial channel strategy across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Later 2026 coverage still identifies her as AMD’s EMEA channel lead.
What AMD announced
ITPro and ChannelPro reported that Srinivasan joined AMD from Microsoft as senior director of EMEA commercial channel sales. The report said AMD expected her experience and leadership to help advance its commercial channel strategy in the region. It did not announce a product launch or quantify a business result from the appointment.
The appointment details and quotations below come from that contemporaneous report; a primary AMD appointment release was not identified.
Srinivasan’s reported background
Before joining AMD, Srinivasan most recently served as UK Device Partner Sales field lead at Microsoft and previously as Windows Consumer category lead for the UK and Ireland, according to the report. It also says she held leadership roles during 12 years at Lenovo and had more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry.

AMD’s Stephanie Dismore, senior vice president of EMEA regional sales, said: “Anjana’s exceptional leadership and deep expertise in the technology sector make her the perfect fit for this role,” the report reproduced. Srinivasan said she was “deeply honored to join AMD” and looked forward to working with teams and partners across EMEA.
How the role fits AMD’s partner program
AMD’s Partner Network provides context for the commercial channel role. In an October 2025 blog, AMD described the network as a consolidated global program for partner sales training, go-to-market resources and incentives, supporting PC builders, server integrators and advisers to mid-market businesses.

AMD said it increased channel investment by 40% year over year and engaged 520 partners across its client, cloud and server portfolios. These are AMD’s reported figures for the program, not evidence that Srinivasan’s appointment caused the investment or engagement, or that either represents a measured outcome of her tenure.
What later coverage says about her remit
In a May/June 2026 PCR interview, Srinivasan discussed experience across sales, marketing and operations, including launching programs and working with OEMs, distributors and resellers. The interview framed partner priorities around margin, growth and consistency; those are her stated views in that interview, not independently established findings about the entire channel.

In a 2026 LinkedIn post, she said AMD hosted its EMEA partner cohort at Advancing AI 2026 in San Francisco. She described the channel opportunity as spanning “from data centre infrastructure to the AI PC in your customer’s hands” and mentioned AMD Instinct, EPYC and ROCm offerings. That post reflects her own description of the opportunity, not independent evidence about product performance.
