Amazon’s October 2026 sale is called Prime Big Deal Days, not the June Prime Day event. An October 6 deal report listed the Magic: The Gathering Star Trek Play Booster Box at $170.61 and the Marvel Super Heroes Play Booster Box at $147.95. The timing differs: Star Trek is scheduled to release on November 13, while Marvel Super Heroes has been available since June 26. These are reported sale prices, not a guarantee that either Amazon listing still shows the same offer.
What is the Amazon sale, and how long does it run?
Amazon says Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6–7, 2026, for 48 hours, with Prime-member-exclusive offers across more than 35 categories. Amazon notes that deals can appear during the event and limited-time offers last only while supplies remain. See Amazon’s event announcement for the sale details.
Which MTG booster box discounts were reported?
An October 6 report attributed to IGN and republished by Mudauchi Games listed these offers. The prices below are dated report figures; check Amazon for the current price, seller, stock, shipping, and eligibility before buying.

Is the Star Trek MTG set still upcoming?
Yes. Wizards of the Coast lists November 13, 2026, as the global tabletop release date for Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek. Prerelease events are scheduled for November 6–12, and the set is due on MTG Arena on November 10. Wizards says the set was available to preorder through retailers including Amazon. Check the official Star Trek product announcement for release and product details.
What comes in the Star Trek Play Booster Box?
Wizards says the box contains 30 Play Boosters. It lists the individual Play Booster MSRP as $6.99, but that is not a box MSRP and should not be treated as a direct comparison with the reported Amazon box price. The set also includes Collector Booster boxes, Commander decks, Collector’s Edition Commander decks, Bundle and Beam Me Up Bundle products, Draft Night, Scene Boxes, and prerelease packs.

Is Marvel Super Heroes an upcoming set?
No. Wizards lists June 26, 2026, as the release date for Marvel Super Heroes, so the reported Play Booster Box offer is a discount on a released set, not a preorder for a future launch. Wizards identifies Amazon among the retailers for its products. See the official Marvel Super Heroes product page for set information.

How to judge whether a reported deal is still worth considering
- Open the relevant Amazon listing and confirm the current total price, including shipping and any applicable eligibility requirements.
- Check the seller and stock status; an event report does not establish what is currently available or who is selling it.
- Compare like with like: a Play Booster Box is different from Draft Night, a Bundle, or Collector Boosters. Choose based on whether you want packs, a group draft, multiplayer decks, or collector-focused contents.
- For Star Trek, decide whether a preorder ahead of the November tabletop release suits you. Marvel Super Heroes is already released, so its listing is for an available set rather than an upcoming one.
