Screen and media features
Sony’s U.S. specification page lists a 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED display with a 3840 × 1644 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also lists a 3.5mm headphone jack and microSDXC expansion up to 1TB. Battery and Sony’s performance claims
Sony specified a 5,000mAh battery and claimed approximately 20 hours of continuous video playback. Treat the playback figure as a manufacturer claim, not a measured estimate of everyday battery life. Sony also said the main camera sensor’s low-light performance was approximately double that of the Xperia 1 IV and that the sensor was about 1.7 times larger than the Xperia 1 IV’s main sensor; these are Sony’s comparisons, not independent lab findings. What to check before buying one on Amazon
Because the reported deal is from 2023, check the live product page rather than relying on that old discount or on a search result headline. Confirm the exact configuration and seller before comparing prices.
- Confirm the model and storage. The historical offer was for the 256GB unlocked U.S. version. Do not assume another listing has the same regional model or configuration.
- Check condition and seller. Verify whether the phone is new, refurbished, or used, and review who sells and ships it.
- Review warranty and returns. Confirm what coverage applies to that seller, condition, and regional model.
