Kotaku reported on October 2, 2026, that Amazon was offering two selected horror and spooky 4K UHD Blu-ray movies for $25. It’s a deal on physical discs, not a streaming offer. The promotion was described as limited-time, but no end date was reported; check the live Amazon listing for current eligibility, price, and stock before buying.
How Amazon’s 2-for-$25 4K UHD Blu-ray offer works
According to Kotaku’s October 2, 2026 report, shoppers choose two qualifying 4K UHD Blu-ray movies to get the $25 multi-buy offer. It is not a blanket discount on every horror movie or every 4K disc: the deal applies to selected titles, and a movie mentioned in the report is not necessarily still eligible or in stock.

Kotaku described the promotion as similar to Amazon’s earlier 3-for-$33 UHD sales, but requiring two films instead of three. Amazon’s promotion page was unavailable when the report was researched, so the current terms could not be independently confirmed. Check that both discs are included in the live offer and that the discount appears in your order total before completing checkout. Kotaku’s October 2 report links to the Amazon promotion page.

How to choose two discs
Start with the titles you most want to watch, then compare the eligible options on the listing. A pair can mix different moods—such as a creature feature and a supernatural film—or stick with one franchise. If you are buying for a group, It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown offers a family-Halloween alternative to the report’s horror selections. These are ways to sort the reported titles, not recommendations based on a review or picture-quality test.

Before ordering, check that both selected products are 4K UHD Blu-ray editions and that the promotion applies to them together. A title may also be sold in other formats; a standard Blu-ray or another edition should not be assumed to qualify simply because the movie appears in the reported list.

The Kotaku report says you need a UHD player and recommends a 4K television. It also mentions disc-equipped PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles as possible UHD players, and advises using the correct HDMI cable. Check your specific console or player and television setup before purchasing; the report does not establish compatibility for every hardware model or connection.
