Daily Mail Buyline published it on 8 July and updated it on 9 July 2025; Amazon’s sale ran from 8 to 11 July. Its prices should not be treated as current.
What the headline refers to
The headline describes a Daily Mail Buyline roundup of offers available during the second day of Amazon UK’s July 2025 Prime Day event. The roundup covered products across home appliances, cleaning, personal tech, Amazon devices and household consumables. Its “55+” count refers to the offers presented in that dated article, not a current selection.
Amazon announced a 96-hour event running from 8 through 11 July 2025. The company said it would feature daily themed deals and limited-time drops, including deals launching at midnight. Amazon’s event announcement gives the original dates and format.
Examples of offers listed in the 2025 roundup
These are the article’s historical event prices, not verified live prices or current savings. The available source material does not establish what the products cost now.

The figures are tied to their original coverage and sale period; they do not establish a current price, a lowest-ever price, or a market-wide saving. Amazon’s own 2025 deal and Kindle coverage provides additional context on products featured during the event: its selection of Prime Day deals and its Kindle deals article.
How to use the roundup now
Use the old article as a record of what was promoted, not as a buying recommendation based on today’s prices or availability. Before buying any named model, check the current Amazon UK listing for the exact model and variant, price, stock, Prime eligibility and delivery terms. A product’s name alone is not enough to confirm that a listing is the same version covered in 2025.
For a meaningful deal comparison, compare the exact variant with a credible price history or clearly stated reference price. The historical roundup does not supply market-wide price histories, so it cannot by itself substantiate a current discount or “lowest ever” claim.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why the dates matter
Amazon’s About Amazon UK event hub separately lists Prime Big Deal Days for 6–7 October 2026. That is a different event from the July 2025 Prime Day sale; the hub does not verify current listings or prices for products in the old roundup. Check Amazon UK’s event information for the separately dated event.
Daily Mail Buyline says it may earn commission when readers buy through links in its roundup. That disclosure describes the publisher’s commercial relationship with purchases through its page; it does not independently verify the offers or their value.
