Amazon’s October 2026 sale is called Prime Big Deal Days, not Prime Day, and runs October 6–7. Amazon says Prime membership is required for event deals. The available reporting confirms a UK discount on LEGO Icons Road Bike 11380, but does not establish that Rivendell or the road bike is discounted by 38%. Prices and stock can change during the event, so check the exact Amazon marketplace and listing before buying.
What LEGO deals are confirmed for Prime Big Deal Days?
Amazon’s US announcement says, “Prime Big Deal Days is back, October 6-7.” Its event roundup says offers are available while supplies last and may be updated during the event. The roundup identifies a LEGO Technic Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica offer of up to 30% off; it does not substantiate a 38% discount for Rivendell or Road Bike.
That distinction matters: the advertised “up to 38% off” should not be applied to either named set without a verified listing and a clear comparison price. Amazon’s roundup is available at Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days deal roundup, and its event announcement is at Amazon’s US Press Center.

Rivendell and Road Bike compared
| Set | Set number and pieces | Build and display character | Price evidence | Discount evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LEGO The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell | 10316; 6,167 pieces and 15 minifigures | A large adult display build with three separable sections. | No current Amazon price is established here; check your marketplace’s listing. | No verified discount for this set is established here. |
| LEGO Icons Road Bike | 11380; 1,015 pieces | A technical cycling-themed model with a working drivetrain and functional steering. | Cycling Weekly reported £78.79 on Amazon UK on October 7, 2026, against £109.99. | Cycling Weekly described that reported UK offer as 28% off; it is not a US price or a guarantee of a current offer. |
LEGO’s US product page lists Rivendell’s piece count, minifigures, and display sections: LEGO The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell (10316). Cycling Weekly’s report gives the Road Bike details and dated UK price: Cycling Weekly’s LEGO Icons Road Bike coverage. The two sets offer different build experiences; the available figures do not establish which is better value.
#1 Best Overall
- Build a Middle-earth valley – Create and display a LEGO version of Rivendell with this THE LORD OF THE RINGS: RIVENDELL (10316) building model kit for adults
- 6,167 pieces filled with movie magic – The set is an immersive project that’s bursting with details and references to The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, which all fans will recognize
- Detailed decor – Details include Frodo's bedroom and Elrond's study, and the different sections can be displayed separately: for example, the Council of Elrond can be lifted off the main model
- Iconic characters – The building set features 15 minifigures, including legendary characters such as Frodo, Sam, Bilbo Baggins, Boromir, Gimli, Aragorn, Legolas and Gandalf the Grey
- Recreate your favorite scenes – The set makes it easy to recreate iconic moments including the Council of Elrond scene and the moment the Fellowship crosses the bridge at the start of their journey
How to check a LEGO deal before you buy
- Open the listing for your marketplace. Do not transfer the £78.79 UK report to another country or assume a deal is available in your local Amazon store.
- Check the product and set number. Confirm that the page is for 10316 Rivendell or 11380 Road Bike, rather than a related product or a different set.
- Review Price History. Amazon says product pages can show up to 365 days of pricing data. Compare the offer with that history rather than relying only on a crossed-out reference price.
- Verify seller, stock, and delivery. Check who is selling the set, whether it is available, the delivery terms, and the final checkout price.
- Recheck at checkout. Amazon says its event roundup can be updated and offers last only while supplies last; the listing may change before purchase.
What the “up to 38% off” claim does—and does not—show
The reviewed official Amazon roundup supports an offer of up to 30% off a LEGO Technic Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica, not a 38% discount on Rivendell or Road Bike. The reported 28% Road Bike reduction is a dated UK report. Without a verified listing in the relevant marketplace, the 38% maximum cannot be assigned to either featured set or treated as a current price.
